SailTime is a fractional sailing program that allows members to have an annual share in a well outfitted sailboat professionally maintained on San Francisco Bay. A SailTime membership will give you a “boat owner like” experience as you sail around Angel Island, sip wine while watching sun sets or spend a long weekend anchored or docked exploring San Francisco Bay, Sausalito and the Delta. Imagine the pleasure of creating lifelong memories of sailing while avoiding the hassles of traditional boat ownership. Fractional sailing provides a unique opportunity to join a sailing yacht from our fleet through a professionally managed partnering program. In order to keep things simple, memberships are not owners, so there are no complex forms of ownership to deal with. An annual SailTime membership gives you the benefits of boat ownership without the commitments or the financial obligations associated with traditional yacht ownership. No Insurance Payments. No Slip Payments. No Maintenance Cost. No Fuel cost. No Pumpouts! In SailTime’s fractional sailing program, a maximum of eight individuals share the time aboard a fully outfitted sailboat on San Francisco Bay. There are no per usage charges so feel free to take your sailboat on vacation or cruise with your yacht club for up to a week at a time. Select from one of two membership levels, schedule time to take our custom sail training program and you will be ready to skipper your sailboat. Certified Training SailTime provides training and certifications via our American Sailing Association (ASA) courses. Our custom training program ensures all sailors from beginners to advanced will be safe, knowledgeable and confident as they set a course for adventure! Our goal is to have you docking like a pro, sailing like a racer and having the seamanship of an old salt. Global Access With Global Access to more than 50 other SailTime bases, members can also schedule to sail at all of our other SailTime bases using the reduced charter prices only available to our members. Members design their sailing calendar using an online scheduling system Guaranteed access that’s affordable, hassle-free and easy to schedule – 24/7 Make instant sailing reservations or plan up to a year in advance Professionally managed Beneteau and Hunter sailboats Worldwide access through the SailTime Global Access program Low commitment of 12 months North America’s largest network of ASA sailing schools Membership fees vary by boat size, location and the number of monthly uses So whether you want to sail all over San Francisco Bay, or past the Statue of Liberty or even sail a catamaran in the Caribbean, we have a boat that’s ready when you are. “I wanted to tell you how grateful I am to SailTime. The instruction you’ve provided, from my first ASA class all the way through the navigation course has been outstanding. The flexibility that SailTime offers in using the boat is great. The boats are very well maintained and the sense of community you’ve created is a wonderful way to meet people who share my passion for sailing.” Alan Andrews SailTime Member Membership Program
