Parrot  Heads  of    Puget  Sound  

We  are  the  local  chapter  of,  and  officially  sanctioned  by,  the  Parrot  Heads  in  Paradise,  Inc.,  the  international  Jimmy  

Buffett  Fan  Club.  

We  are  a  501(c)(3)  Public  Charity.  Our  club  always  

strives  to  leave  the  world  a  little  better  than  we  found  it.  

We  like  to  Party  With  A  Purpose,  helping  to  support  various  charities  around  our  

area  while  having  fun!  

 

The  term  "Parrot  Head"  began  in  1985  at  a  Jimmy  Buffett  

concert  in  Cincinnati,  OH.    At  the  show,  Jimmy  commented  

about  everyone  wearing  Hawaiian  shirts  and  parrot  hats  and  how  they  kept  

coming  back  to  see  his  shows,  just  like  Deadheads.  Timothy  B.  Schmit,  then  a  member  of  the  Coral  Reefer  Band,  coined  the  term  "Parrot  Head"  to  describe  each  of  those  fans.

Yearly  Membership  Dues  

Initial  Membership:  Couple  $45,  Single  $30  

Kids  under  the  age  of  18  are  included  with  parent’s  membership.  

  The Parrot Heads of Puget Sound is a 501(c)(3) Public Charity. Our Goals are to help our community, improve the environment, make new friends, and HAVE FUN!! Initial dues are $30 for single and $45 for a couple (keets under the age of 18 are included with their parents). Upon first renewal, the full rate of $25 single / $35 couple annually applies. Make checks payable to: "Parrot Heads of Puget Sound" or "PHoPS.” By signing this document, “I swear that the information provided by me is accurate and true to the best of my knowledge. I understand that this application does not guarantee membership in the Parrot Heads of Puget Sound. Each member of the Parrot Heads of Puget Sound is responsible for their own actions and behavior - positive or negative. I understand that membership can be revoked at any time.” Membership in the club does not give license to use Jimmy Buffett's name, song titles, lyrics, names of businesses, or other trademarked, copyrighted, or reserved material owned by Jimmy Buffett.
