Introduction:

Since being established in 2001 Marine Electrical Installations

Ltd have been involved with new build, refit and refurbishment

projects on Oil Rigs, Cruise Ships, Accommodation Modules

and Car Ferries around the world.

We are able to offer our customers a comprehensive electrical

turnkey service that brings together all aspects of electrical

and mechanical engineering and delivers the supply of cable,

essential electrical equipment and accessories. Customers can

utilise the broad range of services we provide through a single

point of contact.

Installation, quality and customer satisfaction are assured by

the use of our highly trained, competent and experienced

personnel. We only use agencies or temporary staff as a last

resort. This practice brings added benefit to the customer in

reduced costs and the saving of valuable time.

Continuity in our personnel has been seen to reduce the need

for the repetition of vessel/staff familiarization and induction

programs, thus reducing safety training costs and valuable

labour time.

A vessel familiar workforce also assures specification, work

scope and health and safety familiarisation as well as an open

and positive working relationship between crew and our

workforce on projects.

Our experience in project managing contracts for assets of

all sizes ensures we deliver a commitment to quality and an

assurance of work carried out to specification, on time and

within budget.

continuous improvement: This continuous improvement is at the heart

of our business helping us to continually re-evaluate our products and

services and ensure they are meeting the ever-changing demands of our

customers. Having this externally accredited to ISO 9001:2008 standard

will give our customers, both current and future, additional confidence

when dealing with Marine Electrical Installations Limited.

We have recently upgraded our FPAL membership to FPAL verify, which

will give our Oil & Gas customers peace of mind that they are dealing with

a company who has social and corporate responsibility at the foremost of

every action which will minimize risk to all stakeholders thus increasing

profitability & sustainability.

Vessel operation: Vessel supplies and service to marine and offshore

installations will be carried out in a professional, efficient and safe manner

in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations. All employees

are encouraged to familiarise themselves with all documentation and

instructions issued by management.

such we have a global perspective on all our environmental

activities. We focus our environmental activities in all areas

which have a major impact on the environment. Our guiding

principle is that accidents and environmental harm can be

prevented at all costs.

Continuous improvement and prevention of pollution are

integral to every area of our business. We will continuously

evaluate the environmental risk factor posed by our operations.

We will be committed to complying with both national and

international environmental legislation, regulations and other

requirements. We will not engage in work or activities where

environmental assessments have not been made. This policy

requires all employees to recognize, be committed to and

contribute actively to reducing activities which could have a

negative effect on the environment.
