Z13 April 13-20 2017 MEGAFEST BUSINESSMAN OF THE YEAR ZVISHAVANE businessman An- tony Clever Pote, was crowned the 2016 Megafest National Business- man of the Year at a glamorous dinner held at Rainbow Towers Hotel in Harare recently. He fought off competition from Tinashe Mutarisi and Ranga Mav- hunga who became the first and second runners up respectively. He operates a world class hotel, Pote Hill Hotel, hardwares, a chain of supermarkets and wholesaling businesses in Zvishavane, Shurug- wi, Gweru, Gwanda, Mberengwa, and in Masvingo, including a haul- age transport business. Pote Hill Hotel is an ideal busi- ness hotel. It is a walking distance from the CBD and also within easy reach of shops, hospitals and rec- reational facilities. The hotel is ide- ally located to meet the demands of both business and leisure travellers. The rooms are lavishly furnished with reclining couches and are connected to DStv, WiFi internet and internal telephone extensions. The rooms are com- plemented by a world class con- ference facility with a capacity of up to 350 delegates and a board- room which has a capacity of up to 35 delegates. We recently completed the first phase of our expansion programme which comprises of 12 additional state of the art rooms bringing the total to 50 rooms. The rooms are ethnic furnished with a fusion of western styles, making the hotel exceptionally unique. Within the first year of inception, the hotel was nominated for a top hospital- ity award in the Midlands Province and in 2013 the hotel retained the same accolade from the Zimba- bwe National Chamber of Com- merce making it the top branded hospitality organisation in the Midlands. The famous traditional meals themed: Khumbula ekhaya, are a special treat for every week- end while a variety of Western and Asian cuisines are a daily treat.
