Performance Pay Update
The latest performance pay tracking period ended on October 31st. The final surveys for the
performance tracking data to end the period are currently being collected and calculated.
Patient satisfaction is the indicator that always takes a little extra time to finalize, so please
be patient. Once the FINAL data is posted, it will be immediately communicated.
Assuming our numbers hold and we hit all of the targets, the performance
payouts will be made to all eligible full-time employees.
Please do not call Terry Bell or anyone else in the Finance Department wondering when
the Performance Pay is coming. We have not officially hit all of our targets and there is no
payout until all data tracking is complete. Everyone will be notified immediately as
soon as the final patient satisfaction score has been calculated.
If you have any questions or concerns about the performance pay program, please contact
Jeff Keith at [email protected] or at ext. 6160. Thank you.

Effective TODAY, November
26th, Presbyterian Hospital will
implement a change to the route
that patients will now be taken
from the ED directly to Labor
& Delivery on the hospital’s 8th
floor. Currently, patients are being
wheeled past the lobby,
administrative department and
cafeteria to access the Women’s
Elevators in the front corner of the
hospital.
To follow the new route, please
take the hallway through the
Emergency Department as is the
current practice. Turn right and
take the “E” elevators to the 7th
Floor.
Upon arriving on the 7th floor, take
the hallway through 7C –
Women’s via the route indicated
on the map below to access the
same elevator that is used today to
reach the 8th floor L&D. This route
on the 7th floor is parallel to the
route that you currently take on
the ground floor.
This new route also passes
through a treatment area
specializing in women’s care.
Nursing personnel on this floor
can assist with any emergency you
may encounter while transporting
the patient to Labor & Delivery via
the 7th floor.
If you are unsure how to correctly access Labor & Delivery via this new route, please request an escort when you arrive
in the Emergency Department. If you have any questions, please contact Deputy Director Kevin Staley at

The following information comes as a reminder to employees about the Uniform Requisition (aka
Uniform Request) process. The Special Operations Technicians department is in charge of
facilitating all Medic uniform requests. The department is normally available seven days a week from
0600 to 2200. Please be sure to be mindful of the important key points below:
Anderson’s Uniforms is Medic’s current uniform vendor.
The Uniform Requisition Form must be completed in order to process uniform requests.
Forms are available in the lobby of Building 2 and through your supervisor. Completed forms
should be placed in the drop box at Building 2 or routed to the Special Operations Technicians via inter-office mail.
Anderson’s will deliver all uniforms to Special Operations. Once your order is received it will be checked to ensure it is
correct. You will receive an email when your order is ready to be picked up.
All orders will be picked up from Building 2. Uniforms will no longer be available for pick up at Anderson’s Uniforms.
Please call the Special Operations desk at 704.943.6232 to make pick arrangements of your order.
Footwear from Anderson’s Uniforms will be requested when your requisition form is received. Orders for footwear
from Galls or any other vendor will be placed on the 15th of each month.
Questions about uniforms can be sent to [email protected].
If you have any questions about the uniform requisition change, please contact Michael Stanford at 704.943.6230 or

Over the past few years, Medic has begun to understand that
teamwork is indispensable in creating an excellent patient
experience.
As covered in November’s InService, please take some time to
review the essential elements of a good TEAM and the direct
correlation teamwork has with the overall quality of care
(patient satisfaction) scores.
If you have any questions regarding Teamwork or other
concepts reviewed by the Patient Satisfaction Team (i.e.
AIDET), please contact your immediate supervisor.
