Environmental Processes Meeting Užice

1. Development Programme Developing aims and learning outcomes for each lecture in order to organise student learning and help students understand the lecture material

2. Learning using a virtual learning environment (VLE) We plan to developing teaching materials, for class use, using the VLE, Moodle. Courses headlines have already been created in Moodle they now need to be populated. Moodle passwords and logon instructions have been circulated by Milan Antonijevic. The deadline for getting our material onto Moodle is September. Please note we are also using Moodle as a file repository.

3. Where are the knowledge gaps? At this meeting we need to identify critical knowledge gaps. We intend to address these gaps through provision of one-day workshops on particular topics or areas of need. The workshops will be a day-long the intention is for RS colleagues to travel to the workshops within a day. We have to do this since we had now originally planned these activities.

4. Modelling materials The planned curriculum contains modelling activities. At our meeting we shall devote one session to environmental models and modelling.

5. Timetable and task allocation By the end of the meeting we need to allocate tasks and work out a delivery timetable for this work-package.

• Suggestion: to put more information about the course, not only syllabus. To include aims and outcomes. To put Aims and Outcomes to every lecture (slide) that will be developed. To describe each aim.

• Suggestion: To identify primary source and additional source literature. Also, to separate

literature on basic knowledge and advanced knowledge.
