A-TRP Process: Assessment
We begin each workshop by assessing participants to identify strengths, weaknesses. This is done in a non-judgmental environment, designed to provide a solid starting point for further development.
Research prior performance
Conduct mock interview or presentation (typically videotaped/recorded)
Review recorded assessment with participants to identify areas for further work
8
A-TRP Process: Technique
The second step is a lecture presentation where techniques are explained in detail and demonstrated. This is an informal, interactive session. Questions and discussion are encouraged.
Techniques slideshow customized to needs of individual workshop
Critical techniques presented with examples
Discussion continues until techniques are fully discussed and understood
These techniques will be practiced rigorously
9
A-TRP Process: Rehearsal
In this portion of the workshop, participants are able to practice what they have learned, making the techniques presented their own. Executives typically make huge improvement at this stage.
Participants practice using their own messaging, preparing for specific events, interviews
Key techniques are drilled rigorously
Portions of the rehearsal are recorded/reviewed to gauge improvement
All possible venues are rehearsed: one-on-one, group meeting, different interview types
10
A-TRP Process: Performance
Training doesn’t end until the actual event or interview occurs. Participants are given specific areas to work on and advice on ways to prepare individually.
Areas for further practice identified
MBS trainers available for pre-event follow up
Actual event/interview monitored by MBS whenever possible
Additional training available based on actual event performance to drive further improvement
