The project was initiated by carving re-interpreted elements from the Blue Mosque in Istanbul from the centre of the office building. The commercial office building was chosen as building type that is expected in the city and therefore a perfect companion for this new Mosque.

Although re-interpreted the Mosque has all the required elements and orientations required by the Islamic faith.

There was a deliberate intent not to design the mosque as an autonomous building only vis-ited by Muslims, but a Mosque opened up, tak-en apart, and sewn back in through the internal seams of Melbournes laneway culture only to be discovered on a meandering shortcut.

With nowdays lifestyle which need everything closeby and with the shortage of land, mixed de-velopment has come in handy favor for busy peo-ple.

Mixed intention is a masterplan of a mixed program, consisting of residential, office, basketball courtyard, carparks and retail.

This project had taken an initiative by read-ing the master plan as an extension of the existing street pattern, both celebrating and honouring the site existence.

The buildings block is an infill of the open space left from the street pattern and gradually, the building block has create its own tectonic face by the strategy of moving the balcony in and out of the block, creating a new face for the existing neighbourhood.

  • NT E T R I S H O U S I N GSocial Housing

This social housing project aim to accomodate po-tential resident ranging from the big size African family with eight children to retired couple who just want to enjoy life in Dandenong.

The interesting part of this project is main mate-rial to be use is brick. Here brick beauty is being enhance and its function is used to its maximum.

Flexibility is the main theme for this project design, starting from its planning to its used of material.

By having all the houses connected together ,all the spaces are being tie together, giving more option for future extension for bigger house.Apart from that, the residents can create their own com-munity by joining all their garden by moving their removable fence between their garden bounda-ries.

  • Flexibility of brick

Brick are being used in every inch of the house design, and added advan-tages for aesthetic and functional value of the house.

  • The idea of connected space

Creating option of the social housing own community gathering within the small footprint of the masterplan.

  • T U B E L I B R A R YLibrary

Located in a garden park, this design focuses on its facade design that can assimilate with nature and aim to look more organic so it can responded well to the site, hence giving a more peaceful time for people who is reading in the library.

The building skin is a re-interpreted element of a woven element of sculpture.

The re-interpreted element of the woven sculpture now becoming the structure, facade and also a building which enclosed a space for people in the library.

This library in the Albert park is now a woven result of technology, art and culture.

Inspired by the famous modernist architect, ie Mies Van De Rohe and Le Corbusier has contrib-ute to the idea of a Moveable Gallery in a small open space in RMIT University.

This small building was design to accommodate 3 different program. The idea was to have a move-able wall and moveable floor,so the building space can change accordingly to activities that will take place within it.
