Course Objectives To learn fundamental principles of biochemistry To learn and apply scientific terminology To understand applications of biochemical technologies and their limitations Past undergraduate students indicated that this course trained them in biochemistry, but also helped establish effective study techniques and prepared them for future graduate studies and professional careers (see course website for student comments). Format This intensive course will include four lectures and one tutorial per week, for 10 weeks from June 6 – August 12, 2011. There will be weekly homework revision exercises, three examinations (two of which will count toward your grade) and one final examination.
