MAYANK AMINCenter City cohort

I am a Philadelphia native who graduated from the University of the Sciences in 2009 with a PharmD degree. Thereafter, I became a community pharmacist and outreach representative for Walgreens. In 2012, I moved to Manhattan, NY where I worked at the headquarters for Pfizer

in the Worldwide Safety & Research Organization until a recent promotion to the NJ office. In Villanova’s MBA program, I look forward to being able to strengthen my knowledge and skills in business while expanding my network in order to build a foundation to bring my business ideas to life. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports and mentoring youth. I also enjoy working on my start-up initiatives which include a motivational company, Motivates My Day (an event management company), Platinum Dream Events and BAPS Charities Children’s Health & Safety Day (a non-profit children’s health program). My hobbies also have lead me to unique experiences working as an actor/dancer in Hollywood/Bollywood features. t

SHELLY BAILEYCenter City cohort

Since 2008, I have worked for BAYADA Home Health Care. In my current role in the Operating Policy office, I work with the managers in our 75 branch locations to improve operational efficiencies and share best practices. I really enjoy working for BAYADA and am hoping that the Fast Track MBA

will provide the tools and experience necessary to advance within the company. I have an undergraduate degree in Communication from Grove City College, Pennsylvania and a Masters in Management from Wake Forest University, North Carolina. I grew up in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania – home of the Little League World Series and still love going home for the games. Having lived in the Philadelphia area for the past 3 years, I am now a proud Phillies fan. In my free time, I love to read, play tennis and recently got into running. t

CASEY ANDERSONCenter City cohort

I am currently a Portfolio Analyst and Trader for SEI Investments. I have been with SEI since graduating from UPenn in 2006. I manage the investing of roughly $600 million of our liquid cash positions for our US equity funds along with Fund of Fund trading and vendor management for my market

unit. My degree from UPenn was in Economics, with Finance and Real Estate concentrations and I hope to learn more about the current real estate environment from my Villanova classmates while pursuing my Fast Track MBA. I am originally from Sun Valley, Idaho and I love to ski in the winter and go on backpacking trips in the warmer seasons. Last fall, I hiked the Teton Crest Trail and had an amazing time. t

KEVIN BALTHASERBartley cohort

I received my BS in Finance from Penn State University and currently work as a Senior Accountant for Financial Reporting. I am responsible for consolidated financial statements and SEC reporting, including Form 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks and proxy statements. Additional responsibilities include

share-based compensation accounting, strategic financial modeling, section 16 reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley control process owner and researching and implementing new accounting pronouncements. I would like to use my MBA to make a positive impact on both my organization and the community throughout achieving senior leadership positions. In my free time, I like to golf, cheer on Penn State football and follow the stock market. t

LEVI BLAIRCenter City cohort

As a project manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, I lead a 16 person, client-facing team that provides system acquisition analysis and management consulting services to U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM). Previously, I was a U.S. Navy officer for seven years.

During that time I experienced many diverse assignments; submarines, Afghanistan and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), a defense industry regulatory agency. I earned my BS in Finance and Economics in 2005 from Indiana University. I enjoy hiking and SCUBA diving, anything outdoors and smoking cigars. I am very much looking forward to digging into the Fast Track MBA program at Villanova in order to further develop my business and analytical skills. t

JAMIE BROWNCenter City cohort

I received my BA in History/Anthropology from Franklin & Marshall College. I currently work as an associate at CMF Associates, which provides consulting, executive search and deal origination services to middle-market private equity funds. I work on the deal origination

team helping to source and market opportunities to our network of private equity funds, as well as handle all of my firm’s marketing efforts, including writing and posting blogs/email newsletters, managing the website and coordinating conference sponsorships/attendance. I would like to use my MBA to look for a global business perspective and to build out my peer network. Outside of work, I like to swim, mountain bike, volunteer and cheer on Philly sports teams. t

MICHAEL BREUERCenter City cohort

I have worked in various roles at Urban Outfitters Corporate since 2008. For the last year and a half, I have held the role of Financial Analyst for the Development and Procurement department. I am currently working with our new store roll out and the expansion of our

corporate headquarters in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Originally from Portland, OR, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, running and biking. I spent my college years at the University of Southern California and received my degree in business management. As I changed positions from construction management to finance not too long ago, I’m looking to fortify my skills in the Fast Track MBA program at Villanova and further my career in finance. t

COREY CELLABartley cohort

I received my BS in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University in 2010. Currently, I am a financial analyst for Fox Rothschild LLP. In my position, I am responsible for the development and delivery of regular monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. I am also responsible for any ad hoc

reporting and analysis to facilitate effective decision-making, analyze financial data and develop forecasts, budgets, profitability models and other financial support. I work directly with the COO and CFO to develop new systems and enhance existing operations. With my MBA, I plan to advance in legal management and ultimately be part of the Executive Committee. In my free time, I enjoy spinning, concerts and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. t

MATTHEW CARDIACenter City cohort

I have worked in various divisions of Johnson & Johnson since joining through the Financial Leadership Development Program in 2009, after graduating from Rider University with a degree in Finance. In my current role as the Senior Brand Finance Analyst on one of our cardiovascular

pharmaceutical drugs, I am involved in all aspects of sales forecasting, marketing strategies and lifecycle management of the asset. I also manage our pharmaceutical division’s financial relationship with our advertising agencies. I grew up in Bucks County and enjoy cycling, running and traveling, having recently taken a trip to Italy. My career thus far in corporate finance has been professionally rewarding, though I have become very interested in making a functional switch to marketing and strategy and hope to focus my studies there through the Fast Track MBA. t

NICHOLAS BRUECKENCenter City cohort

In 2010 I relocated to Philadelphia for a medical sales position with my current employer, Ormco, a Danaher company. Prior to moving here, I lived in Newport Beach and worked in a sales training capacity at Ormco’s headquarters in California. In my position now, I work remotely from a home office and travel

throughout Eastern, PA to meet with orthodontists. I expect this MBA program to make me better at my current position while preparing me to take advantage of future opportunities. I was born and grew up in Toledo, OH and try to get back as much as I can. I graduated from Ohio University in 2008 with a degree in Economics. As a non-local, the history here in Philly is remarkable, which is why I moved to Old City. I don’t even mind the tourists. For fun, I like running, food, sports and music. t

ASHLEY FLANDERS CENTENOBartley cohort

I received my BS in Business Administration from Villanova University, majoring in Finance and International Business. I am currently a Senior Financial Analyst for Johnson & Johnson. I have completed roles in Marketing Finance supporting brand

marketing expenses and strategic planning and Internal Audit as an associate auditor with international assignments. I currently support supply chain consolidations with a focus on ensuring a comprehensive look at the end-to-end supply chain model. With my MBA, I hope to continue to advance my career with Johnson & Johnson and eventually become a future leader within the organization. My hobbies include college football, photography and running. t

PATRIZIO CERNETTIBartley cohort

I currently work as a Category Manager at Procurian and I am responsible for managing, negotiating and contracting spending in the maintenance/repair/operations business for Fortune 500 companies on a global basis. Previously, I held the Project Manager position

with Vodafone, where I managed end-to-end projects for the design, delivery and implementation of new products, processes and programs for the sales/supply chain and analysis departments for the Italian and EU markets. Prior to these companies, I received my MS in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in Italy, and my MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. With my MBA, I would like to gain more insight on how companies work and eventually start my own business. My interests outside of work are soccer (the true football), tango, grappa and exploring the world. t

KEVIN COHENBartley cohort

I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University. I currently work as a Technical Integration Lead for Boeing where I am responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of the engineering product produced by the electrical and mechanical design

teams for the MH-47G helicopter program. In addition, I am responsible for making sure our design meets customer requirements and contractual obligations. My team and I work directly with our Government customer, Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing to make sure the end-user’s needs are met. With my MBA, I plan to move into an engineering or program management position within the Boeing Company. I would like to use the knowledge gained within the program as a way of better clarifying my future plans. In my free time, I like to lift weights, play my guitar and participate in sports. t

JASON COHNBartley cohort

I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2011 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics. I have worked at eMoney Advisor since August of 2011 and in my short time here I have worked in and with several of the company’s departments. Currently, I work in my

company’s Finance/Operations department as a Director. In this role I work with our Controller to understand the finances of my company and how each decision we make affects the company. With my MBA, I’m hoping to bring new ideas to my company and gain the skills and experience to advance within. Long term, I would like to take what I have learned and start my own business. I am an avid golfer and a big college and pro sports fan, going to as many games as I can. t

JOHN DARROYOCenter City cohort

I currently am working at Johnson & Johnson in the Customer Logistics Services group representing Consumer Products. More specifically, I work in Customer Operations representing all J&J Baby Products. I have been at J&J for close to 3 years now including 2 years in my previous

role in the Customer Relationship Group working with the CVS Account. Prior to J&J, I attended Drexel University and attained my Bachelor’s in Business & Engineering with a Concentration in Operations Management. I am an avid Philadelphia sports fan as I live and grew up in this City and enjoy an active lifestyle in my free time. I am looking forward to starting the MBA program at Villanova and building relationships with my cohort over the next two years. t

MEREDITH DEPIETROCenter City cohort

In May of 2008, I graduated from Loyola College with a degree in Mathematical Sciences. After graduation, I had the opportunity to live in Bangkok, Thailand for two years. I taught English as a second language to university students. I was able to travel around Southeast Asia and visit many places, like the Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal. These two

years were an amazing and unforgettable experience. I currently work for ARI, Automotive Resources International, in South Jersey. I started with this company in February and have been enjoying my time here ever since. As this is a fleet management company, I have been learning a great deal about the automotive industry. I ensure that my clients’ (Allergan Pharmaceuticals, Swisher Hygiene, and Fresenius Medical Care) fleet vehicles are running as smoothly as possible. Receiving an MBA from Villanova will help me advance my career within ARI or within whatever company my future holds. I want to learn the skills and traits of a successful leader. I enjoy seeing live music, reading, watching movies and trying out new bars and restaurants around Philadelphia. t

MEGHAN DAVISBartley cohort

I received my BS in Psychology from Boston College. I currently work at The Vanguard Group as a Relationship Manager, where I am responsible for the development and management of relationships with 120 of Vanguard’s institutional clients. The majority of my clients utilize Vanguard mutual funds

as part of their retirement plan for company employees. I act as a consultant and trusted advisor in the client’s decision making process; I anticipate and assess the needs of my top tier clients through regular contact including face-to-face consultation and I strategically position Vanguard products and services to gain and retain business. I would like to use my MBA to help me with my goal of becoming a people leader within the financial services industry. Outside of work, my hobbies include running, yoga, trying new restaurants and spending time with my family and friends. t

CRYSTAL CURTISBartley cohort

I have worked at BJ’s Wholesale Club, DE/PA Market, since 2005. As Receiving Inventory Control Manager, I monitor financial on-hands, schedule incoming deliveries, reconcile club on-hands and head the regional inventory team. I grew up in Newark, Delaware, and have resided there

for most of my life. I love to travel and have recently enjoyed a vacation to San Francisco and Hawaii with my family. My undergraduate degrees are in Organizational Management and Human Resource Management from Wilmington University, 2013. I started working for BJ’s when I was in high school and over the past couple years I have become more interested in entrepreneurship and business law. I hope that the Fast Track MBA program at Villanova will open up windows of opportunity and allow me to network with professional individuals like myself. t

KYLE ESTESCenter City cohort

I have spent the last 18 months over seeing the operations and logistics for a group that supplies non-drug materials for clinical trials at Merck. I recently moved into a Sr. Project Manager role with a focus on strategic planning, I have been working on various strategic initiatives aimed at

improving efficiencies and realizing cost savings. I grew up in New England which has fostered my love of snowboarding and I spend as much free time as possible during the winter up North and out West riding. I try to travel to experience new mountains as much as possible. I graduated from Syracuse University in 2007 with a dual degree in Supply Chain Management and Marketing. I am hoping to garner valuable experiences and knowledge from my MBA with the aim of translating that into a long successful career. t

ROBERT EMERSONCenter City cohort

I have worked at AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation for 7 years, and 5 of those years as a Program Manager for the AW139 type helicopter. Before AWPC, I was a helicopter mechanic at Duke University and currently hold an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required for

doing that kind of work, which I received in the US Marines. My undergraduate degree is from UNC Wilmington and is a BS in Finance. I have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and the world: England, Italy, Qatar, UAE, North Jersey, Egypt, Israel and South Korea. I have Master Certificates from Villanova in both Commercial Contract Management and Applied Project Management. I enjoy running and riding motorcycles in my spare time. t

AMIT EASOWCenter City cohort

It is good to know a person’s past because it helps another gauge one’s future. But the MBA program is one of those pursuits in life that can change careers. My past is filled with exciting opportunities and accomplishments, like having grown up in India and completed

my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering there. That was immediately followed by a Master’s degree in Telecommunications and Networking from the University of Pennsylvania. I then started working as a junior engineer for Comcast and eight years later I am a Lead Cloud Services Engineer. I decided to pursue my MBA while not losing my place in the technology space because that is a crucial step in eventually leading a large project and team within the company. My MBA will also open doors to exciting new opportunities. t

NICHOLAS DINGESCenter City cohort

I have worked at a private equity real estate firm called Davenport Investments since 2007 where I have focused on all aspects of the business, from deal sourcing and underwriting to asset management and disposition. I graduated and received my BSE from the Wharton School of Business

at UPenn in 2007 with a concentration in finance and a minor in French. I intend to use my advanced degree to further my career in real estate and investing, while gaining as much exposure to different industries, cultures and people as possible. t

I received my BS in Business Administration from Villanova University. I currently work as a Fixed Income Senior Analyst at SEI where I am responsible for the sourcing, selecting and monitoring sub-advisory relationships for SEI’s $35 billion investment grade fixed income

platform. In addition, I support sales and service distribution efforts by presenting at a weekly fixed income meeting, writing monthly/quarterly fund commentaries, quarterly market reviews and creating product pitch books. In the future, I’d like to have my MBA so that I can become a portfolio manager and eventually start a minority-owned investment management company managing state and local government assets. My interests outside of work include running, international travel and volunteering and mentoring. t

SARA FEUERSTEINCenter City cohort

I have worked for Cigna since graduating college in 2010. As an Underwriter, I manage the profitability of a book of business of current clients, focusing on margin improvement and case persistency. I also analyze risk and price life, disability and accident insurance

for potential new clients. I have a Bachelors of Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland, where I specialized in Finance and Economics. I also spent a semester in New Zealand, studying at the University of Auckland during my undergraduate career. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exercising, skiing, boating and spontaneous weekend trips with my friends. I am expecting my MBA to prepare me to advance into a role that involves more financial planning and decision-making at the enterprise level. t

JIMMY GEORGECenter City cohort

I graduated from Drexel University in June 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering. My first job out of college was in the Sunoco Engineering Associate program where I worked as an engineer in three different manufacturing sites in the US. I have been working at Braskem

America at the center city office in Philadelphia, PA since April 2010. My current position is the Supply Chain Manager for our North American business. Previously, I have worked in Supply Chain at Braskem as a production scheduler and Operations Planner. I’m expecting my MBA to provide me with the skills necessary to help me with my career change into management from engineering. In my free time, I like to hang out with friends and family. I am a huge sports fan so I still try to play basketball and flag football when I get a chance. t

BRADLEY GIULIANOCenter City cohort

I have been working as an Associate on the Financial Advisory Group at Giuliano, Miller & Co for the past year now. As a member of this small team I assist Bankruptcy Trustees in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 Bankruptcies. Our team aids in asset collection, claims analysis and litigation support, among

other processes. Previously I worked as an entry level staff Auditor at SR Snodgrass, where I worked on an audit team specializing in financial institutions. I earned my undergraduate degree at Villanova in Accounting with minors in Finance and Real Estate. I grew up in South Jersey and spent my summers at the Jersey shore surfing and working at seafood restaurants. I love watching sports and playing sports and I especially love to travel. While I enjoy the work that I do and find it to be rewarding, I still am unsure if I have found my calling and I am hoping my MBA will provide me with the guidance and knowledge I need to find my career and passion. t

NICOLE HARLANCenter City cohort

I am currently a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Integra LifeSciences, a global medical device company based out of New Jersey. My responsibilities center around maintaining compliance with the guidelines and regulations established by the authorities of the countries in which Integra operates.

Regulatory Affairs has significant interaction with the different business units and I am pursuing this MBA to build a business expertise so that I may excel in this functional area. I graduated from The University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering but I was born and raised in New Jersey. In my free time I am an avid reader, a health nut and a travel enthusiast. I recently returned from a trip to Australia and New Zealand and I am already planning my next one. t

SHALLYN HARMONBartley cohort

I currently work as an email marketing consultant – providing clients with analytical insights and strategic recommendations. My career in marketing communications has crossed many industries, channels and job functions. Some interesting career highlights: I wrote a TV commercial

for the Goodwill featuring NFL player & commentator, Shannon Sharpe; hunted Morgan Freeman down at the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show in order to garner a press placement; ran a speeddating business for two years as a promotional event for a culinary client. I am pursuing my MBA in hopes of shifting my career focus to broader strategic consulting projects. I love to travel and desire to see all 50 states (have 22 covered so far, plus a few countries). I am very active in my church and work avidly with the youth. I enjoy trying my hand at new culinary challenges and even get requests for my baked goods. t

JOHN (JP) GUNNBartley cohort

I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University. I currently work as an Account Manager for Customer Plant Support where I am responsible for global sales of parts and services for oxygen and nitrogen plants. I also coordinate commercial activities with European

and Asian sales offices. I am also responsible for the marketing analysis for the non-ferrous mining extractive metallurgy industry. I held previous positions in engineering, operations and commercial groups throughout Air Products. t

SHAWN HAMERSLEYBartley cohort

I am an IT Project Manager supporting Research and Development and I received my BS in Information Science and Technology from Penn State University. With my MBA, I plan on becoming a Project Portfolio Manager specializing in Business and Product Development. In my free time, I like to

cook, read and keep up with technology trends. t

PARIJAT JAIN (PJ)Bartley cohort

I hold a BS in Pharmacy from India; an MA in Industrial Pharmacy from St. John’s University, NY as well as a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ. Currently, I work in the Global Product Network Operations (GPNO) team as a Senior Program

Manager, Product Strategy & Change Management, at TEVA Pharmaceuticals in North Wales, PA. Prior to this I worked as a Senior Process Engineer in the TEVA Generic R&D group at Sellersville, PA as well as a Senior Formulation Scientist in Novartis Pharmaceuticals, East Hanover, NJ. With my MBA I am looking to strengthen my business and strategy skills and vie for a suitable Senior Executive position in pharmaceuticals. In my free time I enjoy reading, playing chess and guitar and adventure sports. t

GEOFFREY INCHCenter City cohort

As an Advanced Contracts Coordinator at Lockheed Martin (a global technology company), I develop supply chain agreement strategies and negotiate long-term pricing contracts for various U.S. defense programs. Prior to my current role, I held several operations positions as part of the Operations Leadership Development Program – where I enjoyed

leadership experiences in Sunnyvale, CA, Fort Worth, TX, and now Moorestown, NJ. I graduated from the University of Michigan with an undergraduate degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering and like most people from the Detroit area I have also spent some time working in the auto industry. While the beginning of my career has been primarily focused on operations/engineering, with each new experience I’ve become more interested in finance and entrepreneurship. In the Fast Track MBA program at Villanova, I look forward to growing these passions and meeting other professionals in the area and from a wide-range of industries. In my free time, I compete in a several different golf and basketball leagues. I also enjoy staying current with local real estate news and trying new restaurants in and around Center City where I live with my girlfriend. t

BETTY HOBartley cohort

I am currently an Associate Buyer for the Gift and Favors business at David’s Bridal for almost a year. Prior to that, I was a .com Buyer for Dresses at JC Penney’s in TX where I worked for five years in different areas including Merchandise Allocation, Product Development and Site Merchandising. As a Buyer at David’s, I develop bridal party apparel that the party would wear during various events.

I also manage the online Gift and Favors assortment and search for new and exciting products to sell on our site. I have three Bachelor of Science degrees from Penn State in Management Science & Information Systems and International Business, French and International Studies. I hope that this MBA will prepare me for a managerial role in Retail and also develop upon my entrepreneurial interest in an E-commerce business. My personal interests include traveling and trying new restaurants. Some interesting places I visited this past year include Playa del Carmen - Mexico, Marbella - Spain and Paris - France. The best restaurant I tried this year is Vetri located here in Philadelphia. I also enjoy 5K runs for various charities, boot camps and dancing. While living in Texas, I danced for a semi pro Football team for four years and will continue my passion for dancing at a local dance studio in PA. t

FRANCES HOWELLBartley cohort

I have a clinical practice background as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner and Diabetes Educator. I am currently employed within the medical device sector of Johnson and Johnson with a focus on new business growth opportunities in developed and emerging markets. I am married to

my wonderful husband, Chris, who stays home with our two children, Andrew (7) and Anna Grace (4). My prior degrees include Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Virginia Wesleyan College, Master of Science of Nursing from Marshall University and Doctor of Nursing from Case Western Reserve University. I would like to concentrate my efforts in two areas while in the MBA program, healthcare management and international market development. This focus will enhance my ability to create sustainable solutions for a global and complex healthcare market. t
