Dear Family,This week at St. Dennis School we w ill celebrate graduation and the

last day of school! Please keep our teachers, students and parents

in your prayers. Congratulations to our 28 kindergarteners and our

twelve eighth grade graduates and their families; Nick Argianas,

Adam Blaszkiewicz, John Boyer, Luke Bussey, Claire Diamond,

Katelyn Dombrowski, Riley Kilmartin, Ted Lagger, Kayla Pacourek, Jenna Renas,

Luke Wennlund and Sarah Wood. These students will go on to attend Lockport

High School, Joliet Catholic Academy and Providence High School.

I thank the parents of our graduates for being such an important part of St.

Dennis and entrusting us with your children. I pray that all of our students will

have a healthy and enjoyable summer vacation. I pray that each child will be

protected by their guardian angel in this wonderful summer season. I know the

importance of prayer and I also know the importance of play. I encourage all

to laugh and enjoy the gift of summer.

Our Night at the Races fundraiser was a big success! Special thanks to all

of our sponsors, to all who participated, and to all who put on this wonderfulevent! It was a fun evening for all and Im sure well do this again in the future.

Preparation for Sacrament of Baptism:

Your family must be registered active members of

St. Dennis. Baptismal Prep Mtgs. are divided into two

meetings, 4 weeks apart onSaturdays. Part 1 is 9 am -

10:15 am, Part 2 is 10:30 am - 11:45. The next prep class

is June 15. No July class. Call Parish Office to register.

change the loves of children? SOS Childrens Vil-

lages Illinois is recruiting for Professional Foster

Parents. Studies have shown that having strong values,

faith and being kind, open-hearted and spiritual

individuals is conducive to success in fostering children.

Wedding Anniversary Mass on Sunday, September 8, 2013

at 2:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Raymond in Joliet.

If you are celebrating either your 25th

or 50th

anniversary

this year, please contact the Parish Office at 815-838-2592

x 123 so that we may submit your name to the Diocese for

a formal invitation. Those celebrating over 50 year

anniversaries do not receive a formal invitation,

but will be able to register to attend at a later date.

Playground Theology is Coming!

Fr. Mark Fracaro will host a playground the-

ology series on Tuesdays, June 4, 11, 25

and July 2, 9, 23, 30. The series will take place in the play-

ground area of the ELC (Early Learning Center). It will be

from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. There is no set program of topics nor

commitment to be at all sessions. This is just an invitation to

come, sit and talk church together for a few weeks.
