The Vision of the “Voice of Manifestations” Newsletter is to

communicate the various events to our partners and the

community. Thus, it helps to build and enhance relationships

between the two. The newsletter is also a mechanism to

evangelize, encourage, build and lift up. The Voice focuses

on the four aspect of Manifestations Worldwide, which are

Spiritual Trainings, Education, Job and Housing. Our prayer is

that God is touching someone’s life through the Voice of

Manifestation Newsletter (VOM). Ultimately, our desire is to

be obedient to the commission God has given us; to go and

spread the gospel. All we need is an audience; someone that

is interested, ready to listen, with a heart to receive. Many

go door to door; but VOM newsletter travel email to email;

across the country and around the world, seeking the heart

in need of a word.

And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded

you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of

the age.” Matthews 28:20 (NIV)

Page 5: May 2016 Newsletter Convocation Edition

A Note from the Editor Dear Reader,

As you know the focus of VOM is to

communicate what is happening in the

community, as well as to minister to those

that are in need of a word and have an open

heart to receive. This month we want to take

this opportunity to remind you that Jesus

Christ died on the cross for your sins and that

you still have an opportunity to receive eter-

nal life. It is FREE... and as simple as:

A Admit that you are a sinner

B Believe that Jesus Christ is the son of

God and died for your sins

C Confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

If this is what you believe and are ready to confess, repeat this prayer:

“I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness Father.

I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead.

I trust and follow Him as my Lord and Savior.

Guide my life and help me Lord, to do your will in Jesus name, Amen.”

We encourage you to tell someone about “Eternal Life” and invite them to receive Je-

sus as Lord and Savior.

Proverbs 11:30- The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Holy Convocation is a sacred time or-

dained by God for the edification of the

body of Christ. It has been observed by

the church since the Old Testament. The

Lord ordained seven holy convocations

per year also known as the feast days.

While we no longer observe the Old Tes-

tament feasts, we continue honoring the

spirit and purpose of these sacred meet-

ings at our annual convocation. So what is

the purpose of convocation? The purpose

is threefold. We are to remember, rehearse

and to rest.

During convocation

we remember and re-

flect on what God has

done for us as a col-

lective body. We cele-

brate His provision,

protection and the de-

liverance of our

church family as a

whole. This remembrance serves to renew

the strength of returning members and to

ignite the faith of new members. It's

through this process of remembering that

we impart our core beliefs and values to

our youth.

Convocation is also about rehearsing in

the sense of recital or a re-hearing. In the

Old Testament the priest would read the

law of God to the people. This helped to

reaffirm the terms of the covenant they

had with God and to remind them of what

was required. Today, our Apostles, Pas-

tor's and Prophets lead us in this recital by

casting the vision of the house, laying out

the directives of the coming year and dis-

mantling strongholds/mindsets which are

not in line with faith in Jesus Christ. This

is the portion of convocation where we

are presented with the blue print for body

and we examine ourselves to see if we are

in the faith.

Lastly, convocation is about rest. In the

Old Testament believers

were instructed not to do

any physical work. Today

our rest is spiritual. Con-

vocation is an environ-

ment where the con-

nected faith of the body

at large eliminates labor-

ing for deliverance and

breakthrough. Like the

day of Pentecost, as we

are all gathered in one place on one ac-

cord. The atmosphere is charged with

faith allowing the gifts to flow freely.

During convocation the manifestation of

signs/wonders is increased and readily

available.

I encourage you to embrace this time of

year with excitement and expectation.

Sanctify yourselves because the Lord will

do great things.

Senior Pastor

The Purpose of Convocation

Page 9: May 2016 Newsletter Convocation Edition

Mark, an Apostle of the Lamb- Jesus Christ unto the FBCM covenant family, who

are blessed with Christ in God the Father.

It is my greatest joy to see that you are all flourishing in the faith of our Lord Jesus

Christ, and that the churches are abounding in the love of Christ. I write to remind

you to continue to build the body of Christ holistically in the knowledge of Jesus

Christ which will enable the believers to be in full assurance of rich rewards at the

coming of our Lord.

It is my admonition that you continue to confront error and teach the truth, using

the scripture as a measuring line for what is right and accurate, because it is only

truth that will stabilize and equip the soul of the believer. Contend for the purity of

the body of Christ, in as much as we know that our Lord is soon to come, and we

want to be found in Him, having not wasted our lives and soiled our garments.

See that you do not overlook the spiritual disciplines of fasting, prayer, corporate

worship and the study of scriptures, as these disciplines will assist the believers in

cultivating the kind of life-

styles that please and honor

God our Father.

Charge all believers to walk

in love, and to live offence

free lives, lest Satan gain the

advantage through your emo-

tional short-sightedness.

Until we meet again, may the

love of God our Father, estab-

lish you so that your soul lack

nothing that is needful for ef-

fective living.

ANOINTED,

BOLD, GOD-

CENTERED,

VISIONARY

are all terms

used to de-

scribe Pastor

Deondrick G.

Douglas. His

passion for

ministry, love

for God's

people and

sensitivity to the voice of God has al-

lowed him to become an anointed

preacher, prolific teacher, and a pro-

phetic voice. He is the husband of Lady

Kelli D. Douglas, M.A., who works dili-

gently in the ministry and is the epitome

of the "helpmate" God calls the Christian

wife to be. He is also the proud father of

sons Jacob and Channing.

Pastor Douglas aka “Pastor Deon,”

accepted the Lord as his personal savior

and heeded the call to ministry at an

early age. In his preteens, he was Praise

& Worship leader, youth minister, radio

broadcast host, and served in other nu-

merous capacities. Having been reared

and educated in Manatee County, Flor-

ida, Pastor Deon furthered his education

at Springfield College graduating with a

B.S. degree in Human Services. He then

earned his Master of Arts in Counseling

with an emphasis in School Guidance

and Counseling from Webster Univer-

sity. He plans to complete his doctoral

studies.

On September 5, 2004, God led

Pastor Douglas back to Bradenton, Flor-

ida where he established Empowerment

Christian Center. With a desire to create

and lead a

more kingdom

minded cul-

ture he estab-

lished Cham-

pions Life In-

ternational

Church lo-

cated in

Ruskin, Flor-

ida, November

2011 and has

seen tremen-

dous change

in the lives of God's people. Pastor Deon

travels extensively as a keynote and con-

ference speaker bringing a word of

transformation, empowerment and vic-

tory to all who experience his ministry.

Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye

first the kingdom of God, and

his righteousness; and all

these things shall be added

unto you.” Those were the

last words from a friend to me

as I made my transition to

Florida in 1997. Brought up

amongst Baptist Preachers in

a house NOT focused on the

Word, this scripture did not

resonate with me at all. I lost my house,

husband and job; where is God in this

mess? Apparently He was with me every

step of the way.

The process by which I was set apart was

long and arduous. God literally cast me

down to Florida with nothing! I wasn’t in

good health and I was NOT in my right

mind. Slowly and intentionally He revealed

His plan for my new self. As a new creature

in Christ I no longer had the desire to drink

or fornicate, after having been divorced for

15 years. I have a new existence and it is

not in the flesh. In the realm of the spirit is

where I can breathe. I am convinced that

outside of His Atmosphere, His Grace, and

His Love, I cease to existence.

In 2003 I heard the Lord say take care of His

daughters several times during service at a

previous church I was attending. Everything

I needed to learn in ministering to girls the

Holy Spirit has taught me. He has sent me

several mentors along the way to teach me

about operating a non-profit organization.

has been my guide, and sup-

port. God strategically placed

me in The Center for Manifes-

tation in 2011 because of my

kingdom assignment. Apostle

Mark instructed me to join the

FBCM during our initial meet-

ings. In 2013 I began to at-

tend the FBCM workshops

and events. The information I

received from the meetings

has assisted me in improving our hiring

practices, budget balancing, strategic

prayer strategies, and capacity building. Al-

though our ministry is not in a church, we

perform our work to the glory of God.

My Kingdom assignment is “Girls Empow-

ered Mentally for Success,” also recog-

nized by the acronym “G.E.M.S.” Our mis-

sion is, “Engaging elementary, middle, and

high school girls empowering them to dis-

cover their passion and purpose through

creativity and wisdom.” Our vision is “To

create healthy transitions for girls every-

where.” Our programs and activities are

currently ministering to hundreds of girls

through the GEMS Programs in Hillsbor-

ough County.

I have been broken under the weight of this

assignment and made whole. During the

past 12 years I have grown in His word and

His Way. He has empowered me to set the

captives free and lead the lost to their true

selves in His image and likeness.

MISSION

Our mission is to bring salvation, healing, res-

toration, encouragement and deliverance to

mankind; especially the hurting and those who

have been rejected and cast aside. We are also

called to inspire the Body of Christ to dis-

cover, develop and fulfill their God given pur-

pose and train up an army of militant interces-

sors, warriors and worshipers. We’re raising

up a generation to fear God, as well as to

know and exercise their God given authority

in the Earth.

VISION

Our vision is to establish training centers to

train and equip Apostles, Prophets, Evangel-

ists, Pastors and Teachers and release them for

the advancement of the Kingdom of God. We

will also establish ministries in other parts of

Florida as well as the Gulf Coast, Georgia,

Alabama, Texas, Mexico and Haiti. We will

not be limited to these areas, but we

will send missionaries all over the world as

God directs.

Pastor Laytecia McKinney

The story and life of Pastor Laytecia McKinney is astounding and illustrates how hard work and determination in our society can overcome obstacles. Although she hails from an ancestry which was not replete with royal pedigree or vast wealth, her diligence and obedience has opened supernatural doors far beyond what our natural eyes could ever envision. Pastor McKinney is married to Bro. Sedrick McKinney and has 3 beautiful children, Brittany, Jermaine and Danielar.

Imbued with a sense of social and spiritual responsibility, she has long been an advo-cate to bring healing, restoration, truth and deliverance to the wounded, broken and lost. Not one to merely rest on the laurels of her predecessors, she earned several degrees graduating with honors during her matriculation. Her exemplary standards and genuine love for God's peo-ple resonates the very meaning of the ad-age that, "the will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not cele-brate and keep you.”

She is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Victory Temple Outreach Ministries, Inc. founded in 2006. She is an honor graduate of Hillsborough Community College and Tampa Bay Legal Academy. Pastor Pamela Etheridge

Is a native of Saint Petersburg, Florida; born and raised. She is

the wife of Clifford Etheridge, the mother of two children

Kendra, Kenyon Joyce, and the surrogate mother to Kaleph,

Joshua & Jaylen.

She became a covenant partner in 2002 under the apostolic

leadership of her spiritual father Apostle Mark T. Jones & Lady

Lisa of The Center for Manifestation. Pastor Pamela worked as

a faithful servant on the deliverance and altar teams as wells as

beside Apostle Mark Jones for 12 years.

In May 22, 2011 Pamela Etheridge was ordain as a Pastor and

later called by God to do ministry in Saint Petersburg, Florida

where she is now the senior pastor of Preparing the Way for the

Kingdom Outreach Worldwide Inc.

Just like in the day of John the Baptist:

•Matthew 3:3This is he who was spoken of through the prophet

Isaiah: “A voice of one calling in the desert, Prepare the way

for the Lord, make straight paths for Him

•Matthews 9:36 But when he saw the multitude. He was moved

with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scat-

tered abroad, as a sheep with no shepherd.

God has shown Pastor Pamela Etheridge that Preparing the

Way is to be an outreach center design to reach the lost, minister

to the broken hearted as well as attend to the everyday needs of

our community and around the world. By and through founda-

tional biblical teaching of Jesus Christ she endeavors to build

stability and consistency in the body of Christ in these last days.

Living Waters

International

Church

Founders of Living Waters International Church, this

man and woman of God are visionaries of the gospel, called, anointed

and equipped by God. Pastor & Prophetess Williams work side by

side in the ministry, to fulfill the mandate God has given them to re-

store families, resurrect marriages, and bring God’s healing power to

those that have been wounded. They are dedicated to building families

and their spiritual growth. In 2007, God gave Pastor & Prophetess

Williams the vision for Living Waters International Church, a place

where His presence and love could be experienced. For five years,

they empowered the people of God to encourage others to do the same

through outreach and unity. In 2012, God shifted the vision of Living

Waters to be a healing center for the wounded. God commissioned

Living Waters not only to be a place of healing, but to be a place of

building. In 2014, while building and empowering the people of God,

God shifted the vision of Living Waters International to be a “Life”

Centered Church, where the vision is to see the development of the

whole man; by teaching, training and equipping for the advancement

of the Kingdom and the Glory of God.

Apostle O’Neil Salmon Interview It almost seems instinctive that I

would continue on the path to which I

was raised. I was raised in the church and

grew with an understanding that a life

without God was not a life worth having.

However, though I was secure in this un-

derstanding, it took several choices

through my life to get me to this moment.

I was raised in a traditional family home,

but lacked the relationship needed with

my parents. Thus, I began to look to oth-

ers for the things I missed while being

raised. I sought out many relationships

and came up empty handed each time. It

eventually became clear to me upon em-

bracing many failed attempts at control-

ling my own life and destiny; that failure

was to be not only a likely end result, but

also a pre-cursor to death on all levels.

At some point, I decided to engage

the thought that Christ was necessary to

place a halt to the madness that I was in. I

ran long enough; and at about the age of

19 years old, I decided that I could go no

further. Going to church was not a prob-

lem; in fact as I stated earlier, it was a

part of my lifestyle; but God was not a

secured part of my life. He wanted in.

Thus the call to ministry and the answer

to that call came through my final sub-

mission in that of yielding me over to

Him. When I said “yes” to His will, I said

the same to a call to become greater and

to do that which He called me to do.

When asked “Why did I join

FBCM?” I can only answer by stating, “I

did not join; I was birthed through it.”

Prior to meeting Apostle Mark T. Jones, I

was a Pastor enslaved to doing ministry

according to the sole pattern of which I

was exposed to. I was indoctrinated, reli-

gious and marred to traditions in a way

that could only be defined as “modern day

slavery.” Oh, I had BIG Ideas of what

could be, but the gulf between what could

be and what was, was too scary to bridge

the gap. It took one meeting in my Spiri-

tual Father’s office to affirm that this man

had what I needed. Here I am, with over

25 years of experience in doing church,

feeling so empty going in to his office, but

coming out both pregnant and full. Who I

was before this encounter was violated;

and I wasn’t ignorant to the choices that

led up to that experience. I wanted more,

because I was now hooked like an addict

to the end of a pipe. It was fresh streams

for me, and I was being revived. Fast for-

ward in my experience; since that time till

this moment, I’ve had numerous babies to

be birthed and the mid-wife of a coach in

my Spiritual Daddy there coaching me

along.

Page 23: May 2016 Newsletter Convocation Edition

FBCM has helped me as a guide

to the establishment of our (My wife

Pastor Georgia and I) own fellowship

in Christian Ministry Partnership. Due

to the mentorship provided by Apostle

Jones, I have embraced my Kingdom

Assignment and wel-

comed my spiritual

sons and daughters. I

gained my only spiri-

tual parents, but also a

spiritual family in

FBCM. The collective

of churches and min-

istries represented

within have strength-

ened my belief in that

“churches can work

together without com-

petition with each

other.” To the one

seeking covering,

mentorship or devel-

opment; look no fur-

ther, but do look

within this fellowship.

Thank you for

allowing this forum to

share our collective

experiences. I believe

that someone reading

this has found himself or herself at a

destiny moment. Today, their choices

will influence their destiny. Today, they

shall make a move for change!

Apostle O’Neil Salmon, aka “Apostle O”, has

been energized and established on a mission

to empower the Body of Christ through the

Word of God in a practical and relevant way.

Mixed with humor and sometimes sarcastic

gestures, the saving gospel of Jesus Christ

emerges from the background of the tradi-

tional church to the forefront of today’s King-

dom-minded individuals.

His messages are often directed towards lead-

ership, but find its way into the heart of every

believer. “If it’s going to be relevant, it’s got

to be real” Apostle O states, as he aims to en-

sure that his life is lived and preached from a

place of transparency with God and before

man.

Apostle O is married to his best friend, Lady

Georgia Salmon, who shares in his life since

October 1999, also sharing the stage and the

responsibilities of a growing ministry. To-

gether, they are raising two wonderful sons,

Joshua & Timothy. “Ministry begins at

home” are words you are likely to hear,

when speaking to Apostle O about the essen-

tials of family.

Apostle O is committed to continual im-

provement, and creating opportunities for

others to improve as well. Through his bold,

frank delivery of the Word of God, he cru-

sades to free other church leaders from the

fetters of foundationless formality. He shares

candidly about the challenges the local

church faces. He also provides spiritual, so-

lution-driven responses to matters of social

inequality and political injustice with cul-

tural sensitivity.

He is the author of "Leadership Fun-For-

Mentals" a resource for developing Pastors,

Ministers and Leaders. He is the originator

and producer of the Fun-For-Mentals book

series.

Today, Apostle O is leading a thriving minis-

try in the Tampa Bay Area at The City of Res-

toration, established in April 2006. He is a

published author. He is also the Founder of

Christian Ministry Partnership; which pro-

vides spiritual covering, mentoring and minis-

try development to traditional and nontradi-

tional ministries alike, which serve, for King-

dom establishment. He has spiritual sons and

daughters established locally, nationally and

internationally. Additionally, he currently

mentors established works in New Delhi, In-

dia and Sierra Leone and Kenya, Africa and

the Philippines.

Apostle O’Neil Salmon & The City of Restoration

Page 27: May 2016 Newsletter Convocation Edition

Apostle O requires only that the Body of Christ remains humble & teachable. Thus, he remains

committed to the call of fathering (Malachi 4:6), hoping to eradicate the curse that comes

through ignorance (Hosea 4:6). He is a man humbled by love, and appreciative for all that he

has obtained. Yet, he continues like Paul the Apostle in these finally words… Brethren, I count

not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things, which are be-

hind, and reaching forth unto those things, which are before. I press toward the mark for the

prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14).

Dr. Darlene Townsend

Dr. Darlene Townsend is a native New

Yorker who relocated to Tampa, Florida to

join her family over 10 years ago. The

Lord has blessed this woman of God to en-

gage in many facets of ministry and leader-

ship over the years which has truly ex-

panded the Fruit of the Spirit within her.

She has acquired advanced secular degrees

from Howard University and Miami Uni-

versity as well as biblical degrees at Life

Christian University wherein she earned a

Doctorate in Theology. Dr. Darlene Town-

send has been ordained by God and re-

leased by her Apostle, Dr. Mark T. Jones,

Sr. at the Center for Manifestation (CFM)

in Tampa, Florida . . . for such a time as

this . . . . The Lord has called, anointed,

and appointed her to minister prophetically

in dance in various venues including, but

not limited to ministerial services, confer-

ences, weddings, special events, theater and

the like. The LORD infused and ignited

His gift within her

as a pioneer in prophetic movement and

was designated by her Apostle to lead the

first prophetic dance team at CFM and it

was named PDF – Prophetic Dance & Flag

Ministry which included males and females

of varying ages. Dr. Townsend is also the

Founder & Visionary of Prophetic Expres-

sions International Dance Institute, Inc.

wherein males and females ages 8 – 80

have been instructed in classes and/or

workshops in prophetic movement and flag

movements – all with a biblical foundation.

The ministers of dance are exposed to vari-

ous sounds to equip them to flow in diverse

multicultural atmospheres without hin-

drances. As a result, God’s sons and daugh-

ters have increased their hunger to minister

prophetically with power evidenced by at-

mospheric shifts manifesting healing, deliv-

erance, and divine breakthroughs. Dr.

Townsend ministers with passion and love

for God’s people and places a demand on

Vision

To intercede through movement as prophetic dance ministers to

the Word of God, exhortations, praise and worship, instrumenta-

tion, and flows. To impact multidimensional realms with prayer

and strategic movements orchestrated by the Holy Spirit as we

wave our flags, tabrets, streamers, billows, and scarves as con-

duits for adoration and weaponry thereby creating a conducive

atmosphere for the manifestation of healings, deliverance, and

miracles for His glory!

Scripture: Psalms27:5a: “For He will hide me

in His shelter in the day of trouble.”

Mission Statement

To heal the hurts of life’s pains and disappoint-

ments of those who feel alone and without

hope.

We will provide guidance and an accurate un-

derstanding of the true and living GOD and

teach people how to establish a personal and

intimate relationship with Him.

To cause individuals to walk as manifested

sons of God; that when you look at HisMinistry

you see the very character of God.

I am His and He is mine.

Vision:

HisMinistry will mirror the character of God;

love. “Greater love hath no man than this that a

man lay down his life for his friends”

John15:13

HisMinistry will see people as God sees them.

We will see their heart, working from the inside

out.

HisMinistry will minister to their spirit, soul

and body.

Several years ago, Dr. Hill relocated to Tampa,

Florida. In January 2012, she was strategically

commissioned by the Holy Spirit to this apos-

tolic house- the Center for Manifestation

(CFM), for fine tuning of her prophetic calling.

Within a very short time, she was connected

with the intercessory ministry-her heartbeat for

God’s people.

Throughout her life, she operated prophetically,

however it was not cultivated and/or officially

recognized until now! Since being at CFM, the

Lord has caused a spiritual eruption within her

spirit which has incited the “office” of the

prophet to come forth! This has been evi-

denced publically via sermons, prayer, and con-

sultations. As such, Dr. Hill has engaged in

dialogue regarding these spiritual matters; in-

cluding the manifestation of the prophetic in

operation. This was typically followed by testi-

monies of the words spoken with accuracy

through her by the Holy Spirit.

After discussions with Apostle Mark T. Jones,

Sr. concerning these spiritual matters, she was

advised to follow Prophetess Michelle Guess to

mentor her in the prophetic which included at-

tending prophetic training classes as a prerequi-

site for confirmation/ordination.

Currently, Dr. Hill serves fervently as an inter-

cessor; by opening the services with prayer and

setting the atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to

flow freely without hindrance as well as deliver

relevant God-inspired messages for His people.

Dr. Hill lifts up her voice like a trumpet in Zion

delivering a mighty call of deliverance, healing,

correction, warning, and comfort. Her greatest

“joy” is to witness God’s people loosed, deliv-

ered, and set free! She believes that if there is

to be any preaching from the pulpit, there must

be prayer in the pews-for preaching and prayer

go together. “Woe unto me, if I do not preach

the Word and speak as an oracle of God’s

voice!”

Senior Pastor Raymond Williams is an Apostle who is

anointed to impact the lives of the lost, minister heal-

ing to the broken, empower the weak, and encourage

those who are in pursuit of the will of God with a

powerful and relevant Kingdom message.

He is a servant to God’s people, a steward of God’s

resources, and a seeker of God presence. He is submit-

ted to God’s will and is in aggressive pursuit of com-

ing to the end of himself for God’s glory.

Tampa area and across the state. He believes that everyone has been called for Kingdom purposes

and that “we the church” have been given the responsibility to assist them in discovering that pur-

pose.

Apostle Williams lives by three very strong convictions, among many others:

1. That there is absolutely nothing more meaningful, more rewarding, or more important in the

life of the believer than the pursuit of Kingdom purpose

2. That there is absolutely nothing on the planet more important than family

3. That, no matter what it looks like, no matter what it sounds like, you are absolutely, posi-

tively, 100% unquestionably forbidden to fail!

Vision Mandate

To be the church who strengthens and transforms the life of every human being, with the gospel of Jesus

Christ.

My name is Raymond Donell Williams and I

am a native of Tampa, FL. I was born on June 13,

1972. I was raised by a single mother in the inner

city, but spent most of my life growing up on a

small farm in the country [Thonotosassa, FL] with

cousins and other relatives. While most kids were

riding bikes and playing ball, I found that I was at-

tracted to more, well, let’s

just say, more adventurous

activities such as riding my

grandfather’s hogs, chasing

chickens, and throwing or-

anges and pears at passing

cars for fun. Although these

so called activities often

times came with a very steep

price tag, such as a real

country whipping; now that I

look back on it, I must say,

the fun we had made it well

worth the lashes we received.

I lived with

my biological mother as a

child; however I was raised

by my grandfather, who had

become my hero. He was

wise, disciplined, and ex-

tremely loving. My grandfa-

ther taught me how to work,

and to never be afraid to go

after my dream. When I was

13 years of age, my grandfa-

ther passed away after a long

fight with what the doctors

diagnosed as lung cancer.

After the passing of my

grandfather, my entire world

shifted out of control. At age

14 I began selling and using

illegal drugs and countless of other activities that I

am not proud to mention.

My encounter and transformation came late

one evening while out being involved in some not

so healthy activities. In the moment that I was in-

volved in what could have landed me in jail for

quite some time, the Lord spoke to my heart. It was

as if someone was standing

beside me when I heard a

voice say “that’s enough; it’s

time to take it in, and

change!” Though it scared the

day lights out of me, at first, I

ignored the voice. About 15

minutes later, I heard the

voice again, with the same

words “that’s enough; it’s

time to take it in, and

change!” That time, He had

my attention!

I stood speechless; shaking

in fear, wondering, who was

that? What just happened?

Where is that coming from? I

then asked the guys I was

with, to take me home. It was

one long scary night for me.

The upcoming Sunday morn-

ing I told my (now) wife to

get the kids dressed, “we’re

going to church today.” She

looked at me like she had

seen a ghost (given my life-

style and non-interest in

church.) We went to church

for several weeks before I be-

gin to really seek God for

change in my life.

Raymond Donell Williams Interview

Page 39: May 2016 Newsletter Convocation Edition

There was one Sunday morning I

went to church high on marijuana, as I had often

done however, this particular Sunday was different.

While on my knees during the morning prayer be-

fore morning service was to start, I began to cry and

wail profusely, screaming to the top of my voice,

“God, PLEASE change me! Take this away from

me!” I had made a commitment that I was not mov-

ing until God touched me. After about an hour of

screaming, crying, and pleading with the Lord, I felt

a deep release in my heart. I felt peace, and safety. I

have not always been a blameless obedient son, but

I have loved the Lord deeply and my life has never

been the same!

I started serving in the correctional

facilities. After serving as a volunteer minister in the

county jail system for 5 years working with youthful

offenders, I then transitioned and began serving in

the adult jail facility. After serving in the adult jail

system for 5 years, the Lord then placed me in the

youthful felon prison system, where I served young

men from ages 13-20. These were life changing ex-

periences for me, to say the least. After serving as a

volunteer assistant chaplain in the Hillsborough

County Correctional Institution for three & half

years, the Lord called me to birth and launch what is

now known as Forbidden to Fail, a growing thriving

church whose vision is “to be the church who

Strengthens & Transforms the life of every human

being with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Fellowship for Bible Centered Minis-

tries; I first found out about FBCM when I attended

a luncheon that was hosted by a pastor who was ac-

tually not a partner within FBCM, however he knew

Dr. Mark Jones. I remember it like it was yesterday.

When Dr. Jones spoke that day he spoke about fa-

thering, designing and mining according to God’s

blueprint. It was as if God Himself was speaking to

my heart. I was not attracted to Dr. Jones’s anoint-

ing because I was looking for a way to build a great

church, in fact, inwardly; I was done with church

and church routine. What I was searching for was

deeper than church agendas. Deeper than another

program. It was deeper than my needing to connect

with a prophet, pastor or apostle. What I was search-

ing for was a reason to stay alive!

You see, I was ready to end it all.

Give up the ministry, walk out on family, and aban-

don the will of God. I had no joy, no peace, no hope,

no desire to go on, yet, I was leading others. After

the session I approached Dr. Jones and shook his

hand, looked him in the eyes and said, thank you!

His response was simple, yet life changing. He sim-

ply said “bless you man!” At that moment I felt the

power of the connection between a father and a son.

Dr. Jones and I scheduled and met shortly after that

day, and I joined the FBCM fellowship and have not

considered disconnecting since.

The FBCM has impacted not only my life

concerning ministry, but it has challenged me to live

a more productive and spirit filled life, personally.

Connecting with other leaders who are moving in

the same direction for the same cause (impacting the

lives of others) has been an absolutely amazing jour-

ney! I would say to anyone who may be consider-

ing connecting with FBCM, make the connection!

You will grow, your life will change, your ministry

will grow and change and you will find out that

while connecting with other passionate and effective

leaders, you will be propelled into kingdom ad-

vancement!

Daily I bless the Lord for the opportunity to

touch the lives of others, and to assist in the

strengthening and transformation of the lives of

those who are broken, lost, and striving to honor the

Lord. The Fellowship for Bible Centered Minis-

tries has been, and continues to be a sustaining en-

couragement for me as I pursue the totality of the

unfolding of God’s call upon my life! I am excited

and humbled that God has chosen me to be a part of

His wonderful and awesome plan in the earth.
