WE ARE STILL COLLECTING FOOD FOR FOOD PANTRY!!!! The food pantries are especially in need of non-perishables right now. We have suggested food items below. You can drop off items in the
Faith Formation Lobby vestibule at any time (the entrance to the Faith Formation wing where Mary’s Garden and the Labyrinth are located and where the driveway circle used to be – the first set of doors are unlocked). That one extra item you purchase at the grocery store may be what keeps someone from going to bed hungry tonight. Here is our list: kid snacks, cereal, canned protein like tuna, chicken, beans, shelf stable meals for seniors or ready-made meals, toothpaste, shampoo, dish soap, instant rice and noodle packets, jelly, canned fruit.
THANK YOU FROM MECHANICVILLE FOOD PANTRY ON MAY 6TH
“Yes, we received the wonderful donations (from St. Edward’s) today. We are just so grateful of all of the wonderful food items. It is amazing how you are able to find such great items for the kids and seniors. These are the items that are hard for us to purchase from the regional food bank.”
ALSO: Jonesville Food Pantry is now closed and referring those in need to the Clifton Park CAPTAIN FOOD PANTRY at 5 Municipal Plaza. Donations of Food and Hygiene products are being accepted anytime Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM. Please call 518-371-1185 from the parking lot to let them
know you've arrived with donations. At this time, we ask that you please hold donations that are not Food and Hygiene related. For more a complete list of their food/ hygiene needs and CAPTAINS’ frequent updates go to www.captaincares.org and click on “How you can help”.
