Ancient Greek Mythical Creatures Read the PDF file about Ancient Greek Mythical Creatures. Which one is your favourite? How would you defeat it? Today’s Writing Task: Design you own mythical monster and write a description of it. Think about the following details: Is it made from a combination of animals? Does it have more than one head/tail/body? Is it small or large? Does it have magical powers – what are they? Is it good or evil? Draw a picture of your mythical creature. Then write a detailed description of it using interesting adjectives and similes. Don’t make it too scary – you don’t want your parents to have nightmares!

Top Trumps Today you are going to create your own Top Trumps card for your own mythical creatures. Firstly, read through the Top trumps cards below. ‘Lethality’ means how lethal or dangerous it is is; ‘morality’ means how (moral) good or kind it is. Now draw your mythical creature from yesterday on the top trumps template (or draw out your own) and then write a brief description of it and give it its scores. If you have time, create some more creatures on the templates. Cut them out and play top trumps with you family.

French We are going to learn how to ask someone if they have a pet and we will be able to tell someone what pets we have. We have learnt the names of 20 animals, there are many more we could learn but as we are focussing on pets again today I will leave lion out!
