APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

RESEARCH AREAS

• Prior to applying, applicants must contact faculty to secure research supervision. • Pure or Applied Mathematics MSc applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in mathematics or a related field with first or second class honours.• Statistics MSc applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in mathematics, statistics or a related field with first or second class honours.• Those with a suitable background in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics may apply for an MSc in these areas, offered jointly by the Departments of Mathematics & Statistics and Physics.• PhD candidates should hold a MSc from a recognized university.• International applicants whose first language is not English must submit language scores that meet or exceed international English language testing system (IELTS) band 7.0.
