NEWS – EDITION3  

Everything is getting ready and the countdown really begins!  Please read this edition – lots of important information about our new cashless system!!  The Sunday Funday begins at 9am on Sunday 28 May.  The day proves to be a fun filled day for the whole family – so invite relatives and friends to join you on the day.   This is one day you and the family won’t want to miss.    This year, our fundraising goal is to raise funds for the new robotic centre.  A goal we can all achieve together.  The theme of the Sunday Funday is country fair. A fantastic event that focuses on togetherness and celebrates our school community.

2017 IS CASHLESS! Due to safety and security concerns we are removing as much cash as 

possible from the 2017 Sunday Funday. 

This year we are pre‐selling Money Tickets which will replace cash at the 

Sunday Funday 

 

Each ticket will cost $1 and can be used to the value of $1.  For example, if 

you wish to purchase an envelope on the Money Tree for $3, you simply 

have to hand over three Money Tickets to receive your envelope.  If you 

would like a Kransky for lunch, instead of paying $4 you can pay with 4 

Money Tickets, etc.  Stalls will not be allowed to accept cash on the 

day. 

You will have the option of pre‐purchasing as many Money Tickets as you 

would like prior to the Sunday Funday.  These will be launched on Flexi‐

Schools on 26/04/2017.  We will also have multiple ticket booths operating 

on the day where you can exchange cash for Money Tickets. 

There will be some stalls that will accept cash.  For example, Lob‐A‐Choc 

(50c pieces), Ride Arm Bands, The Bar, Art and Live Auctions and of course, 

the Ticket Booths.  We will also have Eftpos machines available at these 

locations for purchases. Two ATM’s will be located on site as well.

This year’s Sunday Funday rides are going to be bigger and better than ever before! With something for everyone

of ALL ages, pre-sold ride armbands are a fantastic way to get the best value on the day (save $5 by taking this

early bird offer). Unlimited access all day.

Last One Standing Ticket

A limited number of tickets are sold. At 2pm all those who have purchased tickets are asked to be standing in

central stage. Ticket numbers are eliminated one by one until there is only one person left standing. The last

person standing wins the grand prize of $1,000. This year, second prize is a $640 photography voucher from

Imago Photography and there are also 15 consolation prizes.

Little Lunch Boxes

These lunch packs have been designed especially to grab and go and will contain a sandwich, a juice box, a small

apple and a small packet of chips - all for $5.00. It may just be the healthiest thing your child eats all day and with

no waiting. You can choose your sandwich filling and also request gluten free.

Treasure Chest Keys - 3 Keys

Buy three keys and try your luck at unlocking three locks to win prizes. Over 80 prizes to be won. $5.00

SUPER SUNDAY SWEEP HAS LAUNCHED AND THERE ARE SOME UNBELIEVABLY AH-MAZING PRIZES… Here are the Super Sweep details:  The eldest child in each family should 

have received a booklet of Super Sweep tickets  

There are only 5 tickets at $5 each  

Additional books are available from the office. Or make a FB comment and we’ll get extra booklets sent home to you! 

All ticket books (with sold or unsold tickets) need to be returned by Friday 26th May 

The family who sells the most tickets wins an awesome Acer Cloudbook 14” – Donated by Steve Minnikin MP
