Company Profile and Overview The vision and hard work of Mr. A. Sattar Akhai (Founder & Chairman Martin Dow) gave rise to Martin Dow Group. Since 2000, Martin Dow Ltd. is the bench mark for excellence in pharmaceutical industry, expanding with more than 1000 employees countrywide. Martin Dow has excelled in world class branded generics for half a decade and now growing in emerging markets. It markets world-class branded generics which are developed, formulated and manufactured at their C.G.M.P. (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) & S.H.E. (Safety Health & Environment) compliant manufacturing facility. In 2010, it acquired the manufacturing facility of Roche Pakistan, with the state of the art technology, certain brand licenses, and highly capable technical team. ALLWORLD Networks; a US based global organization that gauges the growth of dynamic

companies globally. Martin Dow produces 111 products under six major categories:

Cardiovascular, Gynecologist, Antipsychotic, Anti-infective, oncology & pain-killers. Top

seven products generate annual sales of 1.6 billion rupees and the overall annual sales

revenue accounts for 3.6 billion rupees.2

Martin Dow is among the few companies who are focusing and introducing “Biotechnology”

in Pakistan. It has signed an exclusivity agreement of high-tech-biological products in

Pakistan and for other countries.

Martin Dow believes in promoting ethical business and CSR (corporate social responsibility).

In recognition to its contribution to promote education to the under privileged sections of

society, it was awarded the CSR business excellence award 2012 by NFEH (National Forum

for Environment & Health), in collaboration with the UNEP (United Nations Environmental

Program).

Martin Dow has a fairly healthy organizational culture and an interactive working

environment that is achieved by the aid of corporate values like respect, equality, social-
