What we do
What we want to achieve Short term:
increase income of 15 000 economically active poor from 30 cents to one USD/day
Long term:
increase income of 50% of economically active poor in Niassa
activities to continue indefinately through profit making
Pilot phase started in 2000
A number of projects under one bilateral agreement
The programme is managed by a Joint Executive Committee, JEC (with 2 repr appointed by Sida and 2 by Niassa province) and one operations manager
Budget 20 million SEK/year (3 m USD)
Cooperation with about 10 organisations and investors
