Wednesday, March 2Lifelong Jewish LearningAn Article of HopeThis documentary is about the Space Shuttle Columbia and the lossof seven astronauts from around the world – among them, Col. IlanRamon, Israel’s first astronaut. Also gone is an artifact that embodiedthe glory of the Shuttle’s mission and the despair of its demise: a tinyTorah scroll—smuggled into a concentration camp during theHolocaust; safeguarded by Joachim Joseph, a Holocaust survivor; andcarried into space by Col.
