Arkansas native James Hale began hisculinary career in 1993 in New Orleans, LA. He returned home in 1995 and worked as Sous Chef at two Historic Little Rock restaurants; Spaule and Andre’s Hillcrest.

James opened Acadia Restaurant in July of 1999. Chef Hale was the winner of the “Apprentice of the Year” award by the Arkansas ACF Chapter in 1997. In 2008, Chef was a James Bearn Award Semi-Finalist for Chef of the Year in the South Region.

Gina Simpson is the Chef and Owner of Gina’s Catering in Bryant. Gina’s Culinary career blossomed out of a passion for cooking for her family and friends. With 10 years of experience in various parts of the food service industry under her belt, Gina’s dream came true when she started her company in 2011.

Gina’s Catering is known for putting a modern spin on classic comfort foods, and ranges in services from small family meals and hometown get-togethers to events for over 900 guests. This No-vember, Gina will be the featured Chef for Preview Night of Holi-day House 2013. In addition to wearing the title of “Chef,” Gina prides herself on her role as wife, mother and community volunteer.
