Brothers and Co-workers,
We have another busy couple of months coming up. On March 5th at noon we will host the other 13 lodges from Moose Legion Cypress 202 for our annual Bull Roast. The food is excellent at this event every year. You won’t find better BBQ anywhere. Don’t miss it! March 19th & 20th is Moosehaven days at Moosehaven. Plan on the trip to Orange Park and see what your donations have built for our seniors. Our LOOM Elections for the 2016-2017 Board of Officers will be held at 6:00 PM on April 4, 2016. Please consider running for one of the positions on the board. One of our trustees, Brother Mike Anderson has resigned his position on the board. I would like to personally thank Mike for his hard work in helping to renovate the Social Quarters, his help on making our Christmas Float the best in Dunnellon, along with his work on Thursday night Bingo and for serving as an officer. When you see Mike in the lodge give him an “attaboy” for all he’s done. When I closed my business in Orlando and moved to this area, I expected a lot of leisure time. This past year proved me wrong, but that’s o.k. It’s been a very busy year and I am very proud of all that we have accomplished together here at our lodge. I have had an extraordinary Board of Officers to work with and thank each and every one of them for their cooperation and support. I intended to run for a second term as Governor, but physically, mentally, emotionally and financially it has taken it’s toll. It is time to step aside. Let’s turn the reins over to another and give him our full support. It has been a pleasure to serve as your Governor for the past year and I look forward to the next year as your Jr. Past Governor. I intend to remain active in both the lodge and the Moose Legion. Again, I thank you for all your support throughout the year. God Bless Mooseheart and Moosehaven.
Fraternally, Roy Marler, Governor

Senior Regent’s Message
Dear Co-Workers and Brothers,
I just want to start out by thanking the WOTM for the nice plant they sent my mom and I when my dad passed away. My dad's memorial was very nice and I thank everyone for coming it meant a lot to me
Bunco was a success. But I wish more members would come out and give it a try. We have a fun time.... prizes and food
I need to thank everyone who helped me out by filling a spot for Friday night dinners for the upcoming calendars. There is certain people I can count on. You know who you are.
QUOTE: ABILTY is what you are capable of doing - MOTIVATION determines what you do ATTITUDE determines how well you do it
We start Show Me the Moose again.....it is a fun fast paced card game. We have a blast. So please look for the dates on the calendar and come out and play
The Magic Mike Show.... What can I say the fun we are going to have. Seats are limited so PLEASE buy your tickets now for the March 13th show.
We are collecting can goods for the April conference. Canned goods will go to the food Harvest banks. So if you would like to donate for the cause PLEASE bring in can goods by the case to me or Melanie. Thank you in advance.
I have enjoyed my position as SR REGENT and I worked very hard at it. With elections coming up..... I need members to step up and take some of the officers positions that are available. There is a sign up sheet on the WOTM board. If these positions do not get filled then I am not sure what will happen. With about 262 members surely someone can do it !!!!

To all my Moose Brothers and Co-Workers,
This is a very hard chapter for me to write in our Moose letter. February has been very hard for two of our brothers. On Feb. 2, 2016 Brother Chris Christofaro lost his beloved wife Nancy. On Feb. 8, 2016 Brother John Lawrence lost his beloved wife of many years, Jean. These two ladies will be greatly missed by all of us. Please keep brothers Chris and John in your prayers.
Our lodge is continuing to grow quite well. We are signing up new members every week. A great big thank you to everyone bringing in new members. Our Super Bowl Party was a big success. Much thanks to Terry and Todd for all the pre-planning and thanks to everyone that helped make it a success. Our lodge grows and prospers because we have the best membership that works together and gets results. It shows in all that is done in the lodge.
Our upcoming events for March include the Bull Roast on Sat., March 5, Moose Legion Meeting March 1st., Moose Legion Ribeye Steak Dinner March 25th, Breakfast Sunday, March 27.
In April Cypress 202 Moose Legion Celebration will be April 2 & 3 in Eustis at Golden Triangle Lodge. Moose Legion Breakfast April 24, and Ribeye Steak Dinner on April 29th.
I look forward to seeing everyone at these events. Please support your Moose Legion!

NOTICE! NOTICE! NOTICE!
Due to increase costs we are being forced to impose a small increase in liquor prices.
All liquor will increase 25 cents per drink. This will not affect beer and wine purchases.
We hope you all will understand that we must treat our lodge like any other business. We gotta pay the bills and continue our commitment to our chil-dren at Mooseheart and our seniors at Moosehaven.
We have checked the prices at many other lodges in our area and find that we will still be around 50 cents cheaper on most liquor drinks.
Thank you for your understanding and support in this decision.

Learn about our goals in support of Moose-heart, Moosehaven and our Community. This program will last approxi-mately an hour or less.
All who attend this by invitation event will receive a free dinner in our dining room immediately after the presentation is over.
