A Hearty Welcome To New Member: Roger Melton of Bloomfield Hills, MI. Roger owns a 1948 Lincoln Continental Convertible. We ask our 'veteran' members to make an effort to contact and welcome the new folks in their area. An offer to caravan with them to an ORCCCA event would be a nice place to start. Membership chairman Norm Cangey asks that if you have not done so, please remit your regional and national dues to national as soon as you can. Last year's event went over so well that Matt & Dave decided another one was in order. This one should be of interest to all, with presenters speaking about vintage car lubrication, insurance, tires, detailing and more. Lunch will be provided, but we need your RSVP by April 20th, to make sure we have enough food and drink to go around. The flyer follows in this issue. See you there! Bobbie and Kathy have a wonderful Spring tour for us this coming May. Beginning around noon at Root Candle in Medina, stops include the Little Wiz Fire Museum and Castle Noel in Medina, Mapleside Farms in Brunswick, and finally a buffet meal at European's Best Restaurant & Bakery in Strongsville. Sounds like fun, you won't want to miss this one. More details and a flyer will follow soon. Chagrin Arts Presenting "Gershwin on the Air" Sunday, April 6 The musical program will take patrons back to the 1930's for a 'live" radio show where the songs of George and Ira Gershwin will be pre- sented. Weather permitting, if anyone would be interested in bring- ing their Classic cars and have them parked outside the Performing Arts Center would be wonderful. Call Karen Lazar at 440-247-9700.

Roadway Trophy - Most improved Classic by a shopmust apply to head judgeBayowski Trophy - Most Improved Classic by member; must apply to head judge.Armington Trophy - Board of Managers choice of member's Classic at the Stan Hywet meet.Davies Trophy - Past Director.W.W. Williams Trophy - The person contributing the most to the betterment of the club.The "Good Joe" Award - Joseph B. Virostek Memorial Trophy, an annual award to be given to anORCCCA member in recognition of a good deed or act of kindness towards another club member.Board of Managers Trophy - Most participation points.Northern Lights Trophy - Members choice of an article in the Northern Lights written by a regionalmember.Paige Palmer Award - For the 3 year or newer member contributing the most to the betterment of the Club.Touring Trophy - Most miles driven in a Classic in a year. ***

With a new ORCCCA season upon us, chief judge Gary Rosenthal encourages those of us that are beginning or planning work on a Classic to submit it for one of ORCCCA'S two "most improved" awards. The Rodway and Bayowski trophies are awarded to the two individuals who have the most improved Classics for the year. The Bayowski is given for the best owner restoration, with the Rodway going to the best effort by a shop. Please keep in mind that both submissions and work should be completed by September 2014 to be eligible for the awards made at our November annual meeting. If interested, please contact head judge Gary at 440-423-1718.
