Points With Purpose
Survivors often hide in isolation and shame
Many survivors need a safe place to develop their voice before braving formal or legal outreach
All survivors need friends who relate and see them as whole people
one-of-a-kind, strong, global peer-support community
We reach survivors online and at schools and community workshops
Through art we shatter shame and bring survivors together
Points With Purpose inspires survivors to help each other heal and thrive
“For the first time in forever,
I feel truly understood
and valued for who I amand not for what
happenedto me.
Without this support I
doubt I’d be alive right
now.”- 19 year old survivor, member for 3 years
“Thanks so much for the Points with
Purpose project.It gives
the ones of us who have beenassaulted a
face.”- Anonymous
Empower: with renewed strength they found in the Points With Purpose community, many survivors have reported their assaults to the authorities and found professional help
Envision: reduced secrecy about rape and sexual abuse can impact the way society handles such events, both before and after they occur

Pushing the Limits of Art, Compassion, and Healing
Drawing Hope with Elaan in IndiaIn India, there are few support services for survivors of rape and sexual abuse. In India, there is no effective law prohibiting sexual abuse of children.
In 2012, Drawing Hope is collaborating with Elaan – a Kolkata-based, all-volunteer NGO that was founded by one of our members, Pranaadhika, and has been working for the last decade to transform survivor-support in India.
Together we will:• Support Elaan’s initiative to educate
a million people about rape, sexual abuse and human rights.
• Support Elaan’s campaign for legislative change in India.
