We know that we have fantastic kids at this school, but continued positive development is always important! So, this year we are going to have a program to recognize the positive
attributes we see in our students.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR!
NMSBVI registration for the Residential Campus in Alamogordo for the 2016-2017 school year will be:
Tuesday, August 2 from 8:15am – 12:30pm at the Albuquerque ECP Campus (By appointment only)
Thursday, August 4 from 8:00am – 3:30pm (No appointment needed) and Friday, August 5 from 8am – 12:00 noon (By appointment)
Registration is located at the Alamogordo Campus, Jack Hall IEP Room. Registration packets will be sent to parents no later than May 20, 2016. Make your appointments for your child’s physical exam, eye exam and dental exam to ensure
that they are completed before registration.

Fundraiser – Spring Raffle – Drawing March 24th 1st Place: Large Spring Basket with Assorted Goodies
2nd Place: Large Stuffed Animal 3rd Place: Basket of Assorted Fruits & Goodies
Proceeds go towards “Golden Bear Pride Day,” refreshments for Prom, end of year banquet, Rowdy-O, and end of year donations to charities
The senior class will be having a bake sale on Friday, March 11th – They are fundraising to purchase a
trampoline o be located at the dorms.

April 30 – Area 3 Athletic Competition

Adaptive Ski Program Miss Dana’s class participated in the Adaptive Ski Program at Ski Apache.
NMSBVI library’s yearly reading contest is in progress. “Get Fired Up For Reading”
The contest ends April 1st
Special Olympics
Practice has begun for the Special Olympics
The Area 3 Athletics Competition will be April 30th in
