    Marcel Sigel

Marcel Sigel was born in Australia, he left school, and he wanted to study marketing. But then lateron he realizes that he isnt the right person for marketing and decided that he want to study productdesigning. Which he did not have anything else to study except for product design. But later on theyears he then realizes he has the passion for product designing. Around 2004 he started to work forother people and companies. He likes to push the boundaries in designing a product or furnitures.

In 2007 he moved to London to work with another company called Tom Dixon to this date.

The sustainability that Marcel Sigel has on most of his designs is pretty much having them last verylong and make them feel economical as possible. The designs he makes would like to be recycled orto be reused later on the future to complete the life cycle it needs. He has a saying from cradle tograve which he likes to use for most of his designs. Migels design is more focused on Environmentaldue to the fact the designs are for good use for Recycled and reused.

The intellectual property he has is mostly of furniture based designs or just furnitures. He alsodesigns spatial and fashion products. He designed 3 different types of shapes of vases, it has a veryunique design into it and it also has a very interesting material used.

His design and influence by mostly from other modern designs but when he is trying to mix todifferent genres of design into one, for example peace and sport he will combine them two into aone genre based design into a modern design. The materials that are used are from the othercompanies are other research that he like to understand. Most of the materials are from Fashionbased and Urban and modern designs

The manufacturing process Migel like to undertake is; find out the furnitures design, and whatlimited edition that he can undertake. Secondly he would create a design brief of the design. Thirdhe would start constructing the creative process. Style and trend forecasting conceptualdevelopment, he would later on use a 3D computer program for the prototype. Then he would startconstruct the project, He would also communicate with other agents or other companies. Signing offon samples and prototypes, and then checking the evaluation from the project that he worked on.

The quality of his designs is really unique and has a different modern and urban type of designs. Thequality would have some really clean but modern look to it. Like he said he wanted he designs to last

like of its complete life cycle, Which pretty much points out that he uses the right materials and howhe would construct them.
