    WARNING

    Please read the following recommended instructions carefully to avoid the risk of your physical

    injury before the product is operated.

    - Check the receiver's operation voltage : 90-250V AC50/60 Hz.

    - Do not cover the receiver and keep a clear space around the receiver for sufficient ventilation.

    - Keep a liquid away from the receiver.

    - The receiver shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and the objects that filled with

    liquids such as vases shall not be placed on the receiver.

    - Unplug the receiver from the wall outlet before cleaning.

    - Use a soft cloth and a mild solution of washing-up liquid to clean the casing.

    - Do not block the receiver's ventilation slots which are provided for ventilation and

    protection against overheating.

    - Maintain the receiver in the free airflow.

    - Do not allow the receiver to be exposed to the hot, cold or humid condition.

    - Do not use any cable and attachment that is not recommended as that may damage

    your receiver.

    - Unplug the receiver from the wall outlet and disconnect the cable between the

    receiver and antenna when you will not use it for a long time.

    - The wall outlet shall be placed near the receiver and shall be easily accessible

    - Do not remove the cover to reduce the risk of electric shock.

    - Do not attempt to service the receiver by yourself.

    - Refer to a qualified service personnel for all technical supports.

    This section explains several ways of connecting the receiver to your TV, VCR and Hi-Fi system.

    You can choose one of the following setups that we recommend.

    If you hava any problem or need a help, consult your dealer or service provider.

    I. CONNECTING TO TV USING RCA SUPPORT

    INSTALLING EQUIPMENT

    1. Connect the antenna cable from the dish directly to LNB IN on your receiver.

    2. Connect a RCA cable from VIDEO (Yellow) to VIDEO on the TV.

    3. Connect a RCA stereo cable from AUDIO L/R to AUDIO L/R on the TV.

    III. CONNECTING TO TV USING RF CABLE

    1. Connect the TV aerial directly to ANT IN on your receiver.

    2. Connect the RF lead from TV OUT on your receiver to ANT IN on the TV.

    II. CONNECTING TO TV USING HDMI CABLE

    1. Connect the antenna cable from the dish directly to LNB IN on your receiver.

    2. Connect the HDMI cable from the HDMI connector to the HDMI connector on the TV.

    Select the language with in the list window

    and then press OK key to confirm a selection.

    We wish you will enjoy the high quality of video and CD quality of audio fully.

    If you will encounter any problem during installation, please call your service provider or dealer.

    1. Set the GMT Usage to On or Off.

    2. Select the GMT Offset , Date and Time with in the window. and then press OK key to confirm.

    Local Time Setting

    1. Select the satellite list in which you now are.

    2. Start the Automatic Search by pressingRED Key.

    I. InstallationThe Installation has five menu items as follows.

    I-1. Satellite List

    You can select the satellite list in which you now are.Select a satellite with "" from the list and thenpress "OK to confirm.If you want to search more than one satellitetogether, press "OK" at each satellite in the satellitelist to select the multi satellites.

    1. EditPress the Red key, you can edit the satellitename and longitude.

    2. AddPress the Green key to add the satellite, sothe keyboard will appear.After entering the name of your new satelliteby using this keyboard, please do not forgetthat you press Enter to save the name.

    Also can edit the longitude and press Yellow keyto save a new satellite name and longitude.

    3. DeletePress the Yellow key, you can delete satellite.

    I-2. TP List

    Select a satellite by pressing "" and sothe TP list will appear.

    This menu enables you to add or delete the TP,edit the TP parameters and search the TP.

    1. EditPress the Red key, you can edit the TPfrequency, symbol Rate and polarity.

    2. AddPress the Green key, you can add a new TP.After entering the information of new TP,

    please press Save to add TP.

    3. DeletePress the Yellow key, you can delete TP.

    4. SearchPress the Blue key to select the TP search.

    I-3. Antenna Connection

    1. LNB PowerSelects the LNB Power On or Off.

    2. LNB1Selects the antenna type.

    I-4. Antenna Setup

    1. SatelliteSelects a satellite with " from the listthat is displayed by pressing OK andthen press OK" to confirm.

    2. LNB FrequencySelects the proper LNB frequency of yourLNB by pressing " in the list that isdisplayed by pressing OK and then pressOK" to confirm.

    3. Transponder

    Selects a TP with " from the list that isdisplayed by pressing OK and then pressOK" to confirm.

    I-5. Satellite Search

    1. SatelliteSelects a satellite with " from the listthat is displayed by pressing OK andthen press OK" to confirm.

    2. FTA OnlySelect the channel search type. Set FTA Only

    to Yes to search the FTA channels only, Noto search all channels.

    3. Scan ChannelSelect the channel search type: TV+Radio orTV Channel or Radio Channel.

    4. Network SearchSelect the Network Search(Yes/No). If you selectYes, the satellite search first tries to find out theNIT carried within the transponder, if any, adds all

    transponders listed in the NIT to the transponderlist of the satellite, and then continue the satellitesearch.

    5. Scan ModeSelect the scan mode Auto or Blind.

    6. SearchPress OK at Search to start the satellite search.

    4. DiSEqC1.0Selects the appropriate port for your DiSEqC switch box.

    5. 22KHZ

    In case of using a 22kHz switching box to install a dual LNB or two dishes on the roof, you haveto set the 22kHz option to On or Off considering the connection between the LNB andswitching box.

    6. 0/12VIn case of using a dual LNB or two dishes, you may use another type of 0/12V switching box.Set the 0/12V to On or Off when you connects the LNB to the switching box.

    7. PolaritySelect the LNB polarity (Horizontal/Vertical) with "".

    II. Edit ChannelThe Edit Channel has five menu items as follows.

    II-1. TV Channel List

    II-2. Radio Channel ListII-3. Record & Watch ReservationII-4. FavoriteII-5. Delete All

    II-1. TV / Radio Channel List

    This menu provides you with the functions to edit,sort and move the channel.Press "" to select the desired channel list.

    1. EditPress the Red key, you can Lock, Skip, Delete,Add to Favorite, Rename the channel.

    Select a Lock with and then press OK.When you want to view the locked channel,you will be asked to enter the PIN code.

    Select a Skip with and then press OK.When you select Skip ON, you can not viewthe skipped channel .

    Select a Del to delete the selected channel. Select a FAV with " " and then press "OK".

    You will see the favorite list.Select a favorite list with "" and then pressOK. The channel is added to the selected list.

    Select a Rename with " " and then press "OK". You will see the keyboard.Use "" and "" to move to each character on the channel name and then press "OK".Press Enter" on keyboard to save the edited name.

    2. Sort

    Press the Green key, you will see the submenu listing the sorting orders.This submenu enables you to reorder the channels in the sorting order that you choose.

    3. MovePress the Yellow key, you can rearrange the channel list. choose a channel to move by using and then press OK to confirm a movement.

    II-2. Record & Watch Reservation

    This menu allows you to set a time information and reserve up to eight programs for

    recording & watching the channel. Press "OK key to enter the submenu.

    Timer Mode Select the mode from the list shown by pressing "" key. Timer Service Select the service type : Wakeup channel or Record channel

    Wakeup Channel Selects a channel with " from the list that is displayed by pressing OK(Record channel) and then press OK" to confirm.

    Wakeup Date Enter the date with 0..9(Record Start Date)

    On Time Set the start time that the receiver will wake up or record for reservation. Duration Set the duration time for reservation.

    When making a reservation, you first need to check that the correct date and time is beingdisplayed at the upper-right side. If not, please wait for the receiver to get the good date and time.

    II-3. Favorite

    In this menu you will see the eight favorite lists.Press the to select the desired favorite list and then OK to Rename.

    II-4. Delete All

    If you select the Delete All item, you will see

    the Input Password window and there whenentering the correct password, the warningmessage will be displayed.If you press Yes" while this warning message isdisplaying, all channels in your receiver will bedeleted completely.

    III. System SetupThe System Setup has five menu items as follows.

    III-1. Language

    III-2. TV SystemIII-3. Local Time SettingIII-4. Parental LockIII-5. OSD Setting

    III-1. Language

    You can change the default language for Menu,First Audio, Second Audio, Subtitle and Teletext.Selects a language with " from the list displayed by

    pressing OK and then press OK" to confirm.

    III-2. TV System

    The receiver has many A/V outputs connected to it.This menu allows you to adjust those outputsettings with "" and " OK key.

    1. Display ModeSelects the the display mode of video output tothe TV. (AV/Component or HDMI)

    If you select the HDMI mode, you have to be ableto see the video via the HDMI connector only.

    2. TV SystemSelects the TV system to the TV.(AUTO, PAL, PAL-M(N), NTSC, SECAM)

    3. Aspect ModeSelects the aspect ratio of video output to the TV(AUTO, 4:3PS, 4:3LB, 16:9)

    4. RF ChannelSelects the channel number output from the RFmodulator.(CH3 or CH4)

    III-3. Local Time Setting

    This menu allows you to set the local time in your location.You can select either the GMT or the local area time atyour preference.

    III-4. Parental Lock

    This menu allows you to lock the receiver in order to prevent any unauthorized person fromaccessing it and control the channel viewing per age and change the current password.

    The default password is preset to 0000 at the factory.

    III-5. OSD Setting

    Subtitle Display (On/Off)

    OSD TimeoutSets the duration that the program information plate is displayed on the screen when youchange the channel.

    OSD TransparencySet the OSD transparency to be applied to an entire system.

    IV. Tools

    The Tools menu has five items as follows.

    IV-1. InformationIV-2. Factory ResetIV-3. Upgrade by USBIV-4. Backup DB by USBIV-5. Network Setting

    IV-1. Information

    This menu shows the date of software released,software and firmware version, model Name,and bootloader version for your receiver.

    If you contact the local dealer or service provider,they may ask for Information from this menu.For example, you need to check this Informationwhen upgrading the receiver with a new software.

    IV-2. Factory Reset

    If you press "OK" key at the Factory Reset item,you will see the warning message.If you press YES" while this warning message isdisplaying, all the current settings will be reset tothe factory default.If you do not want to change any settings,

    press the NO or EXIT" key.

    IV-3. Upgrade by USB

    This menu allows you to upload the new software to the receiver via the USB connection.

    You can select the software file to upload by pressing at the item Upgrade Modeand so the selected file is displayed at the item Upgrade File. And then you can transferthe file to the receiver by pressing OK key at the item Start .

    IV-4. Backup DB by USB

    You can store the system software and channeldata into the USB memory stick.

    IV-5. Network Setting

    This menu allows you to configure the networksettings for the network applications.

    V. RECThe REC menu has six items as follows.

    V-1. Record Manager

    V-2. MP3 FileV-3. Image FileV-4. HDD InformationV-5. HDD FormatV-6. Timeshift

    V-1. Record Manager

    You can edit the recording list by using the functions likeRename, Lock, and Delete.

    Rename (Red key)To change the file name. The characters such as0~9 and A~Z can be used.

    Delete (Blue key) Lock (Green key)

    If the file is locked, you have to enter a passwordwhen you want to access the file. And it is thendisplayed as hidden file in Microsoft Windows.

    V-2. MP3 File

    View and play the MP3 file on the USB memory.

    V-3. Image File

    View and play the image file on the USB memory.

    V-4. HDD Information

    Displays the USB HDD information : Total size, Free

    size, Used size, Time-shift size, Record free size, andFile system.

    V-5. HDD Format

    Format the external USB HDD.

    V-6. Timeshift

    Sets the Timeshift to On or Off.

    Changing Channel

    1. Press the OK key to display the TV channel list,and then select the desired channel.

    2. Press the key on the remote control toaccess the channels sequentially.

    3. Press the Recall( ) key on the remote controlto return to the previous channel.

    4. Enter the desired channel number using the0~9 keys directly.

    5. Press the EXIT key to hide the TV channel list.

    Adjusting VolumeYou can change the volume level of the currentchannel up to the level 20.Press the key to change the audio volumelevel. Press the MUTE key to turn the sound off.

    Viewing Program Information

    You can see the detailed information about thecurrent program (channel)s properties. Press theINFO key to view the detailed information during thebasic information is displayed. Press the EXIT orINFO key to hide the detailed information.

    Switching TV and Radio

    Press the TV/RADIO( ) key to switch between theTV and Radio channel.

    Zooming Screen

    You can zoom the current screen.1. Press the ZOOM key to enter the zooming mode.

    Whenever you press the Zoom key, the zoomingmode changes sequentially as x1, x2, x4, x6, x8,x12, x16 zooming in.

    2. Press the key to change the position ofthe screen to zoom in.

    Viewing SubtitleIf the current program carries the subtitle information,You can view the subtitle information by pressingthe Subtitle( ) key.

    Changing Audio Language

    If the current program provides multiple audio languages,You can select the desired language. And you can alsoselect the mode of audio output such as stereo,joint stereo, mono or left/right.

    1. Press the Audio key to display the audio language list.Select the desired audio language using the key, and then press the OK key. The audio languagewill be changed immediately.

    2. Press the key to toggle the mode of audio outputamong stereo, joint stereo, mono or left/right in theaudio language list.

    Viewing Multi-Channels Window

    Press the MOSAIC( ) key to display the multi-channels window, and so start to play sequentially from

    the center channel.

    Sorting Channel List

    When you press OK key during watching the channel,

    you can get the simple channel list view.

    Press the Green key, so you will see the submenulisting the sorting orders.Press / or / key to select the desired sortingorder, and then press OK key.You will see the channels in the sorting order that youchoose.

    Viewing Program Guide

    Press the EPG key, so you can see the program guidescreen.The program guide displays the program informationabout each channel, based on the date and time.You can also use the Record and Timer function bypressing the Yellow(Timer) key

    Viewing Teletext1. Press the "Teletext( )" key, so teletext service

    data is displayed.2. Select the page using the "0~9" keys(100~899).3. Press the "EXIT" or " Teletext( )" key to return

    to the previous screen.

    PVR(Recording and Playing back)

    You must connect an external hard disk drive (HDD) to the

    receiver to record or play back files by the PVR function.

    1. RecordingPress the Record() key to record the currentchannel.When the recording starts, the record icon & infobar is displayed. Press the EXIT or Info keyto hide the record icon & info bar.To stop recording, press the Stop() key.

    2. Time Shift RecordingIf the Time Shift is set while watching the channel,you may press the Rewind( ) key once to rewind thecurrent playing channel.You can move to the desired location with key,and then press the OK key to playback there.Press the Stop()key to stop the time shift recording.

    3. Playing backFast Forward & RewindDuring playback of the recorded files, you can use theFast Forward & Rewind function keys in the RCUof 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X and 24X speed.

    Step Forward & Step RewindDuring playback of the recorded files you can use theStep Forward & Step Rewind function keys in theRCU.

    Problem Solution

    Nothing appears on the Front Panel

    No power supply

    Check that the power cords are plugged into an electricaloutlet

    No Picture

    -. Check the dish and adjust it

    -. Check the cable connection and correct it

    -. Get out of the UHF mode

    -. Check the channel and video output

    No Sound

    -. Check the volume level of TV and receiver

    -. Check the mute status of TV and receiver

    Remote Control Unit does not work

    -. Aim the remote control unit directly to the receiver

    -. Check that nothing blocks the front panel

    Service is not running or scramble

    -. Check the Conditional Access Module and smart card are

    correctly inserted or not and are appropriate for the current

    channel (Please call your service provider or dealer)

    No Signal on the screen

    -. Check the signal strength and signal quality in the menu

    -. Check the LNB and replace the LNB if necessary
