1. The iqs and iqs ISIR portal

iqs Software GmbH is a German software manufacturer offering a complete CAQ solution.

Hansgrohe uses the module ISIR for creating, sending, processing and documenting initial sample inspection reports (ISIR).

The iqs ISIR portal is a web-based application that enables fast data exchange without the supplier having to purchase the software by itself.

3. Access to iqs ISIR portalAfter logging into the Hansgrohe supplier portal you can access the iqs ISIR portal via the tab „Supplier Services“ and the „IQS PPAP“ button.

Under „ Personalize“ there is thepossibility of a language selection:

German or English

4.1 InboxIn the inbox you will find the ISIR to be processed.

4.2 iqs ISIR overviewOpening an ISIR will open another window with four tabs.

4.2 Cover sheet – Master dataThe information in the "Master data" tab is provided by Hansgrohe and does not require any changes.



4.2 Cover sheet – SupplierThe details under the tab “Supplier” are made by the supplier.

• The fields in windows 1 and 2 can be individually filled by the supplier with your own specifications.

• The information in the window 3 to the contact person or official in chargemust be made.



4.2 Cover sheet – CustomerThe information under the tab "Customer" is provided by Hansgrohe and can not be changed.

Here are the contact details of the ISIR creator.



4.2 Cover sheet – Enclosure / decisionThe information under the tab “Enclosure / decision” are irrelevant.



4.2 Cover sheet – DocumentsThe required documents must be attached under the tab "Documents" in PDF format (!).



4.2 Cover sheet – Cavity listFor a multiple tool, the number of nests must be specified numerically under the “Cavity list" tab.

4.2 Measurement sheet – drawing selection

• At Hansgrohe, there are, under certain circumstances, other drawing sheets for every technical drawing.Important! All drawing sheets must be checked for positions to be processed, otherwise the EMPB will be incomplete.

• With a double-click on the drawing a desired area of the drawing can be enlarged.

• The small window at the bottom right shows the current position on the drawing.



4.2 Measurement sheet – position selectionVia the dropdown menu it is possible to filter the feature.



4.2 Measurement sheet – Information about the positionYou can select a position either from the list on the left or directly by clicking on the stamp on the drawing. At the bottom left of the window you will find all the important information about the selected position, such as setpoint, tolerance, number of measurements, etc.

− Measured values are entered for each cavity and at least one measured value is NOK.

− Measured values are entered for each cavity and OK.

− The position is still incomplete.



4.2 Measurement sheet – Information about the position

By specifying the test equipment, it is ensured that both parties assume the same assessment basis and thus that some queries ormisunderstandings can be avoided.

• The comment field under "Supplier" indicates the quality test equipment specified by the quality planning, which must be used:

− If this test equipment is not suitable or available, this shouldbe discussed with the responsible quality planner.

− If no test equipment is specified, it is to be selected according to "Instructions for the determination of measurement data" suitable a test equipment.

• General comments on the position can to continue be entered under the test equipment information, for example, in the case of a deviating position, the note "see attached deviation application".

• The information on the test equipment used must be entered in the test equipment field for each tested position.



4.2 Measurement sheet – Input of measured values

Two fields for entering the minimum and maximum dimensions (according to the wrapping condition ISO 14405 E)

A field for entering a single measured value

• A field for entering the text for attributive inspection

• Assessment with “OK" or "NOK"

Here it is possible to take over the entry in the other cavitys.

The measured values are saved by pressing the button.



4.2 Administration

1. Possibility to return the selected ISIR.

2. Possibility to save and / or print the selected ISIR as required as a PDF file.



4.2 Export/Import (measuring data)In the "Export" tab, the measured data can be exported and imported.

Important! With the DFD format can attributive and min./max. values not be processed.

2. Here, the values stored in the TXT file can be imported into the test report.

For each cavity must read in and imported a separate file.

3. Here, the values stored in the measuring machine log can be imported.



4.3 ArchiveThe „Archive"; contains all manually moved or returned and therefore locked ISIRs.

1. Via this button or double-click all ISIR can be opened. When you return to Hansgrohe an ISIR you only have the opportunity to print the documentation.

2. Via this button, ISIRs shifted by the supplier can be retrieved and processed again in the entrance.

3. The other functions are available in the same way as in the inbox.



5. FAQa. The view is too small

By holding and dragging the mouse on the corresponding bar, the respective viewing window can be enlarged or reduced.



5. FAQb. Missing tolerance of a position

If no or incorrect tolerance is specified for a position, please enter the measured values anyway and add "Tolerance not given" or"Wrong tolerance given" in the remark field. The correction of the position, which in this case is evaluated as “NOK", is carried out by the responsible administrator.



5. FAQc. Several ISIRs for an initial sample order (assembly)

For assemblies, there can be separate ISIRs for the components to which in the drawing is referenced. These are located in theinbox under the stamped material number. Notes on this can be found in the „Comment“ field.



5. FAQd. Several EMPBs for an initial sample order (variants)

In variants, there may be a separate EMPB for the functional part referenced on the drawing. This is located in the inbox under the material number given in the field "remark".
