Safety Information
1. General IntroductionSmart stair lighting SH-D4 is designed to replace conventional stair lighting and operates with infrared tempera-ture sensor technology. When there is any motion in the sensor area, the device will automatically turn on. The device is integrated with light sensor and smart operation programs to bring comforts, safety and power saving to its users. The device is appropriate for stairs in the smart home, buildings and offices etc.

The signal connection wire of Master and Slave devices are the signal wire 14V DC and connect to each other only, absolutely do not connect to power source which may lead to the burning or exploding of the device.Warning

Features1. Features of Master device
When there is any user in the sensor area and environmental light condition is less than the preset
value, the device will turn on within 30 seconds (the period can be adjusted, referring to page 11).
Indicator light of Master device:
• Upon booting, indicator light will flash 30 times within 30 seconds. • The light turns on upon detecting users: The device is in automatic mode • The light is constantly on when there is no user: The device is in switch-on mode. • The light turns off when there is user: The device is in the switch-off mode. • The indicator light flashes 10 times consecutively: The device has error. • The indicator light will flash once every 10 seconds to notify the updating process of light value from the environment.
The device is in light sensor mode by default, thus the device only operates when the environmental light is less than the preset light level.

2. Features of Master switchTurn on the light: When the light is off, press the Master switch, the light will turn on constantly within
10 minutes, then the device will return to the automatic mode.
Turn off the lamp: When the light is on, press the Master switch, the light will turn off within 30 seconds, then the device will return to the automatic mode.Turn on the light sensor mode: To turn on the light sensor mode, press the switch 4 times consecu-tively within 3 seconds. If the setting is successful, the indicator light will flash 4 times.Turn off the light sensor mode: To turn off the light sensor mode, press the switch 6 times consecu-tively within 5 seconds.Time setting to turn on the light: To set up the time to turn on the light, press and hold the switch during the expected period from 15 to 240 seconds, the device will record this time period and it is the time period to turn on the light in the automatic mode. If the setting process is successful, the indicator light will flash 3 times. The default mode: The device is in light sensor mode by default and time to turn on is 30 seconds. To adjust the default mode, press the switch 8 times within 6 seconds. If the process is successful, the indicator light will flash 8 times
In setting process, if the indicator light flashes 10 times consecutively, the setting process is not successful. Please contact Customer Contact Center to get support.

3. Features of Slave deviceWhen there is any user in sensor area, Slave device will send signal to Master device to turn on the light.
The indicator light of Slave device:
• Upon booting, the indicator light will flash 30 times within 30 seconds. • The indicator light turns on constantly: when there is a user in sensor area. • Indicator light turns off: when there is no user in sensor area.

Lights turn on due to nearby powerful transmitting equipment
Lights turn on due to a nearby steam fan.

Lights turn on due to the impact of air conditioning or heat sources (cooker, microwave, stove etc.)

Use switch to turn on and off the light, if the device does not operate please check the power connection. If you cannot solve the problem, please contact Customer Contact Center.
Use switch to turn on the light, if the light is not on please check whether the light bulb is broken. If you cannot solve the problem, please contact Customer Contact Center.

The device does not operate, indicator does not flash when there is a user in sensor area.
The indicator light is on upon detecting user but the light is not on.
The lighting device flashes continuously.
