At IIMT, special emphasis has been placed on developing an environment highly conducive to building of a solid foundation of knowledge, personality
development, confidence building, and pursuit of excellence, self-discipline and enhancement of creativity through motivation and drive, which helps to
produce professionals who are well trained for the rigors of professional and social life. All Students are encouraged to make life outside the classroom
vibrant and enjoyable by engaging themselves in multiple extracurricular areas. Fun creativity, competition, distinction, establishing relationships with
fellow students and others in the community and ultimately enhancing the value of their educational experience, is at the heart of all extracurricular
activities.
Mechanism/ Norms and Procedure for democratic/ good Governance
The Institute has developed following methods:
(a) Weekly Departmental meetings amongst HODs & faculty
(b) Meeting of Director & HODs once in a fortnight/regular intervals.
(c) Faculty meeting of the Institute Presided by the Chairman to discuss issues of Academics, Administration, feedbacks and suggestions besides
reviewing the progress over all points.
(d) Nomination of students’ counselors. Each faculty has been assigned specific number students for mutual interaction.

A system of student feedback on faculty and teaching is in place. The student feedback analysis is considered by the management and appropriate points implemented for further improvement.
Grievance Redressal mechanism for Faculty, staff and students
Grievance redressal cell has been created to attend the problems of the students, staff and Faculty. Complaint boxes have been put at prominent places inside the college campus. The phone numbers, cell numbers and e-mail ids have been made available for any sort of grievances at any time.

Yoga Classes: Regular yoga classes are available for the students who are residing in the hostels.
Seminar: The students have created various societiesand through these societiesthey conduct seminars and conferences at regular intervals. This
enables them to improve their communication and organizing ability.
Cultural Activities : Students are encouraged and provided necessary facilities and guidance to conduct cultural programs, to develop & display
their talents. The cultural activities are carried out at regular intervals without affecting programs. The welcome party for the first year ,farewell
party for the final year students and Annual Fest are conducted regularly.
