Canada is a really big and beautiful country with really beautiful nature. More I like summer, but winter here is amazing too. For example, during a winter I like ice skating. In other seasons I enjoy roller blading. Especially I like lake. Remembered the days when I with my father went fishing. That was nice day. Silent, lake, it’s amazing. Moreover, here are really many different animals. Maybe for people who live in Canada all time it’s a normal, but for me, it’s really strange. I saw a beaver, coyote and deer. Wow.Also in Canada I found many different people, for example school friends, people in daily life, teachers, people from the Church and other amazing people from different countries and cultures. All of them people are special. Many friends become dear to me and I very love them. As I said before, in the winter I like ice skating, but roller blade I like more. So, here in Canada are nice places for skating, different parks, for example Birds Hill. It’s a really good place for relaxing, especially when you like active sports, for example bicycle, skating, roller blade and others. Moreover, I very like a school where I study. This really amazing school. Here I can learn what I want. Different interesting subject, oh, I like gym (in the second semester I don’t have gym), game design et cetera, and of course as I said before, people who dear me.I like this country, I like this city, and finally I like Canada.

I have made my connections to Canada with family, schools, places, people, clothes, food. Family: When I came to Canada I met 3 of my cousins at the airport that before I never meet but now I know them and keep contact with them.

Schools: When I came to Canada I didn’t know English and in my first school I learned the basic of English. Here in Canada I been in 3 schools and in those 3 I have learn, enjoy and made friends.

Places: When I came to Canada I didn’t know any places to go because I was new to the country. Now that I’m being in Canada for 3 years I know lots of places to go with my family.

Clothes: When I arrived in the airport my uncles and aunties gave me some clothes for the winter because it was my first time to feel the cold of winter. Now I know which clothes to wear when it’s super cold or when it’s warm.

Canada is very important to me. I made so many connections to Canada. For ex- Friends, teachers and places.Friends- I have so many friends in my school.Teachers- Ms. Romans and Ms. Fenn are my favourite teachers in my school.Places- K.E.C., Tim Horton’s and some stores.K.E.C is my school, where I learned so many things about Canada. Tim Horton’s I like to go there and stores I like to go shopping. I also can make some other connections to Canada. I like snow in Canada because when I came in Canada and I saw snow I did feel very nice.

Also, Canada have so many festivals and some important things. Little poppy Given it to me Help me keep Canada Safe and free.I’II wear a little poppy As can as be, To show that I remember Those who fought for me. Also, Canada day is very important for us because it’s Canada’s birthday on July 1. It is a National holiday. I came here on June 25th and on July 1 when was Canada day I saw so many firecrackers in the air and I did feel very nice.

Fatema AL Hariri

I remember the first day I went to a new school. I was scared and worry because I didn’t know how or what I would do. When I arrived there and I sat on the chair in the library I felt someone came from behind me and sort on my back “Are you Fatema Alhariri? “ she said, “Yes, I am “ I said . She was MS. ROMANS, she was a beautiful and kind. She told me her name and welcomed me. She and MS. FENN helped me to connect with the student and made new friends to practice with them and learn English more. They encouraged me to do very well. I think the school is a big place to connection people together, teachers with them students, although different languages and countries Canada and English language helped us to connect together.

In Canada you can see many different animals that you can’t see anywhere else in the world. Canada does not have a president. Canada has prime minister, that’s how people can recognize Canada. In Downtown there is so many buildings and in downtown some people came to work there and some people live there. In YMCA, we go there for doing some activities for ex:-swimming, play basketball, and we can do some exercise. With Stores and Malls I make a very important connection because if there is no stores and malls how we are going to get clothes and food this is very important in our life.PeopleWith Teachers I make a very important connection in my life because I learn so many things in life because of teachers. With my friends I feel very comfortable because I have

known them and they have known me. With doctors I make a very important connection because when I don’t feel good then I go to my doctor and they check me and they give me some medication I take them and I feel better. I choose this photo because Canada is good at connecting people from another country. Canada is accepting people from another country. And I make connections to people in Canada like the teacher, my classmates, my friends, my cousin, Canadians, and my family here. And they are important because they are taking care of me or they are the key to make me successful. I like the Canadian people. Because they are polite. That’s why this country is good.
