Thanks for using the Guard Tour Management APP which made by JWM Hi-Tech Development Co., Ltd.
For user’s better experience, JWM made “Wepatrol User’s Manual” to users for first using. So we recommend user to read this manual before use.
And the picture in manual is an example for test, please refer to the actual APP operation interface. For better service, JWM may alter and improve the manual anytime. If you have any problem, you can contact JWM at any time.
For your wrong operation and broken database, JWM can’t afford any responsibility. In order to protect users’ benefit, please backup your database frequently.

1.Overview
1.1 Introduction
WePatrol is a totally new designed patrol app cooperate with
JWM B/S intelligence guard tour system, which support both
Android( 4.3 or higher) and iOS(8.0 or higher). This app enable
user to collect multi type of checkpoint include QR-
Code,GPS,NFC and Blue-tooth depend on the support of the
smart device hardware. the work record will upload to the B/S
guard tour system by Wi-Fi & GPRS.
1.2 Installation
For iOS user, please search “WePatrol” in the iOS AppStore.
For Android user, please contact us to obtain the installation
app file.
1.3 Language
WePatrol support English(default) and Chines, which is
depend on your smart device system language.

2.Registration & Activation
Before start with WePatrol App, registration and activation is
required, there are 3 steps : verify server, submit registration
information - waiting for activation.
2.1 Registration
2.1.1 Verify Server
When first launch the app, verify code is required(we will
provide you the verify code and a QR-Code), you can input the
code manually or just press the button to scan the QR-Code,
after that, please press the “verify” button.
PS:If you don’t have the verify code or QR-Code or lost
it, please contact us to obtain that.

2.1.2 Submit Registration
After verify server successfully,
user is supposed to submit
account/password, name, phone,
remark to the guard tour system
and waiting for the manager to
active the account.
2.2 Activation
After the guard tour system
manager active the account , user
can press “Refresh” button to
switch to login page.

3.Login & Logout
User can use their own account and password to login, and the
app will remember the account and password and login
automatically next time.
After login successfully,
[Menu] - [Logout] to logout.
PS:Every account is bind with a certain
device, so it will be impossible to use
one device to login different account.

4.Operation
4.1 Home
4.1.1 Home Header
Left icon: System menu.
Center text: Current selected date, the text changed if user
to selected other date.
Right icon: Back to today button, switch the date to today
quickly.

4.1.2 Day Statistic
To show the qualified/ omit/ to-patrol checkpoint count of
selected day.
4.1.3 Calendar
User can press to switch the certain date and check/view the
patrol plan and the work result.
4.1.4 Schedule
It support Plan View and History View.
Plan View: Patrol plan list of the selected date.
History View: Patrol work records list of the selected date.
4.2 System Menu
Swipe right on the home page or press the menu icon on the
header.

4.3 Quick Start
Press the Flat Action Button.
Button function:
1.Patrol : Start patrol quickly
depend on the default patrol
mode in [Parameters].
2.Alarm: Generate alarm data
quickly。
3.Record/History : Switch the
view type of the home page.
5.Collect Checkpoint
Description:Collect QR-Code/GPS/NFC/BLE checkpoint using
smart device and then upload to guard tour system.
Way to open:[System Menu] - [Collections]
5.1 Collection List & Detail
There is a list to show the collected checkpoints. 10
Press the item to edit/view the detail of the checkpoint, include
site code(read only),site name and description.
5.2 QR-Code Collection
Way to open:[Collection List] - [Flat Action Button] - [QR-Code]
Operation:Align the frame to the QR-Code to identify the
checkpoint and then input site name.

5.3 GPS Collection
Way to open:[Collection List] - [Flat Action Button] - [GPS]
To provide the user a more flexible way to collect gps
checkpoint, there are 3 gps collect mode: Mark Mode,
Manuak Mode and Line Mode.

5.3.1 Mark Mode
The most simple collect way, just use finger to tap the map
and the position you press will be marked as a checkpoint.
Press the collected mark so that you can delete it,
5.3.2 Manual Mode
High accuracy collect mode, it will collect the current
position after a few seconds.

5.3.3 Line Mode
The best way to collect a line with lots of checkpoints. Before
collecting, user can set a collect interval(default 30s). Pause and
resume is also supported during the collection. User can pick
checkpoint to delete after the collection.
PS:
1. Collect gps checkpoint will need the
location permission of the system,
please ensure you have allow this app to
access the related permission.
2. Deviation is inescapable(about 15
miles).

5.4 BLE Collection
Way to open:[Collection List] - [Flat Action Button] - [Blue-
Tooth]
Operation:Turn on the blue-tooth and waiting for scanning.
During the scanning, it will show how many blue-tooth
were found. Press the text to view/edit the discovered
blue-tooth.

5.5 NFC Collection
[Collection List] - [Flat Action Button]
- [NFC]
Limitation:NFC-supported Android
Device only(Apple not allow user
get the NFC tag code so we can not
identify)
Operation:Approach the device to
the NFC tag.
5.6 Upload Collection
Press the right cloud icon on the header, the exist collection list
will be cleared after upload successfully.

6.Patrol Plan
6.1 Generate & Download Plan
6.1.1 Generate Plan
Generate, modify and delete a certain plan need to be done
in guard tour system, user with this app is supposed to execute
patrol plan.
6.1.2 Download Plan
When generate or update a plan, the app will detect and
download/update it automatically after user launch the app.
6.2 View & Execute Plan
6.2.1 View Plan
Way to open:[System Menu]-[Plans]
User can view all downloaded plans here, include dept. name,
plan name, begin date, schedule details and related
checkpoints.

Press “Go” button to
execute plan on the plan
card.
7.Patrol
7.1 GPS Patrol
7.1.1 Patrol Map
All gps checkpoint of a plan will marked on the patrol map.
The small blue circle stand for the user current location. Press
“Start” button to start patrolling, the app will detect the user
location automatically and check whether access the checkpoint,18
7.1.2 Process & Status
The red mark stand for not-arrived checkpoint, and the blue
mark stand for already-arrived checkpoint. Press the mark to
see more information include site name, arrive time and patrol
detail. At the bottom of the screen, it shows the left time of
the plan and stop button.
7.1.3 Edit Patrol Record
When arrive a checkpoint, it will open record edit page, user
can add some description. 19
7.2 Normal Patrol
7.2.1 Time line
All QR-Code/NFC/BLE checkpoints will add to patrol time
line, the detail of each item include site name, site type icon,
position mark, arrive mark and arrive time. Press the bottom
circle button to start patrolling.
7.2.2 Patrol Mode
It depend on the Patrol Mode in
[Parameters], QR-Code is the
default Mode, user can switch the
mode by press the right top icon on
the header.
7.2.3 Edit Patrol Record
When arrive a checkpoint, it will
open record edit page, user can add
some description.

7.3 Edit Patrol Record
When user arrived the checkpoint, it will switch to patrol
record edit page, user can add photo, video, audio, text,
location(latitude/longitude) to the record
7.3.1 Add photo/video
Press the “+” to open the camera and take a photo or record
a video(max length is 10s).for one single record, the user can
add 3 photo/video. Long press on the exist item to delete.

7.3.2 Add audioLong press on the mic icon to start recording voice and
release to stop recording. Press the generated bubble to play the audio and long press the bubble to delete.
7.3.3 Add textJust input.
7.3.4 Add locationFor QR-Code/NFC/BLE checkpoint record, press the top right
icon to collect the current position.
7.4 Patrol Content
If the manager had set some content to a checkpoint, the user is supposed to execute the content when arrive, it will show “X patrol content”, press it and switch to the patrol content page. Patrol content item include content name, content description and content options.
Now the way to execute a content item include single selection, multi selection and input.
PS:patrol content of a checkpoint is managed by guard tour system, and can not be modified on app.

7.5 Manual AlramWay to execute:[Home Flat Action Button]-[Alarm]It will open alarm record edit page when user press the
alarm button, the content of the alarm record is almost same as the patrol record, include photo, video, audio and text, position will be collected automatically.
8.Upload Data
All patrol records and alarm records saved locally on the smart device, if the user want to synchronous the records to the guard tour system, they need to upload the records to the database through Wi-Fi/GPRS.Way to upload:[System Menu] - [Upload Data]

1.Upload statisticUpload page show the saved record statistic include records count, photo count, video count, audio count.
2.Start UploadJust press the “Upload” button to upload.
3.Auto UploadThis app also support auto upload, if the user turn on the Auto-Upload in [Parameters],records will try to upload automatically in background each time when the user create a new record.

1.Device No
Press to check the last 6 letters of the device identify, Device No is a unique id of the device and can not be modified.
2.Patrol Mode
Set the app default patrol mode(QR-Code default).

3.PedometerWhen turn on the pedometer, the app will start to count the step when app launched add add steps number to each patrol record.
4.Auto UploadWhether to upload records automatically in background.
5.Feedback ModeSupport Voice/Vibrate/Silent mode, and the supported action is:

6.Map Type
Set default Map, now support A Map and Google Map, Google Map is the default Map if the system language is not Chinese.
7.Order Patrol
To check whether the user must to patrol checkpoint in a particular order. This parameter is managed by guard tour system, it can not be modified on app.
8.Home Content
Set the default view type of the home schedule part, schedule to show the patrol plan and record to show the patrol history, restart to take effect.

9.Update time
the last time of the app and guard tour system synchronous.

Way to open:[System Menu] - [Server]
To check the connection status of the server, and enable
the user to modify the server address in some special
circumstances.

4 MANAGE YOU CHECKPOINTS
Choosing one company, then use the device to read checkpoints. Connecting the device with computer and click “Batch Read”, it will shows checkpoints ID. You can edit their names. You also can delete/modify checkpoints in there.
Finally, after patrolling, connecting the device with computer by USB cable. And click “Read Data”, then you can see the data in “Patrol Report”, “History Data” and “Statistics”.
