Welcome to JWM-Patrol!

This short guide will help you configure all basic settings needed to setup your JWM-Patrol account for first time and learn about all the necessary steps in order to quickly manage patrols.

Click on “Log in” to enter the software

2 REGISTER YOUR DEVICE IN THE SOFTWARE

When enter the software first, it will prompt you to register the equipment. Please click “Yes”, the device will register automatically.

After entered the software, it will prompt you to register the device. Please click on “Yes”, the device will register automatically.(Connect the device after you have clicked “Register Reader”)Each model only need to register once. If not, It will prompts you that the device has been registered.

2 REGISTER YOUR DEVICE IN THE SOFTWARE

When enter the software first, it will prompt you to register the equipment. Please click “Yes”, the device will register automatically.

Disconnecting the device with computer, then read RFID Tags one by one. Connecting the device with computer and click on “Batch Read”, it will shows checkpoints ID as you have read. You can edit their names. You can also delete/modify checkpoints there.

Click the “Add Guard” to edit the guard information. The guard ID must be 10 hexadecimal.

Click the “Add Event” and edit the event name in there.

6)In the “Day off”, you can add the normal rest day in week rest, if you have special holiday, you can add it in special rest.

8 CONTACTS

Click “Add” to add contacts and edit the event name in there. And you only can dial the telephone which was existed in this contacts. The max value for telephone number is 30 sets.

Click “Download Data”, download the information to the device. Please select all setup information and download.

You can add some pre-settled messages on the software ,it can save you patrolling time and convenient for you.

If you have static (fixed) IP address, please choose “connect by IP address”, and then fill in an IP address in below blank.

If you do not have static IP address, please choose “connect by domain ”, and then we need download dynamic DNS (domain name resolution) softwareto get a domain name and DNS. (DNS is 8.8.8.8) (Or you can contact us)

Set the APN, User and Password of the SIM card in there. (You can confirm these with your SIM card supplier)

Then we need test the port is open or not. Open your Telnet function in the Control Panel. Press “Window Key and R”, Go to “Run”, input “cmd”. Input telnet your local IP and 3505. Such as telnet 218.24.71.24(you public fixed IP) 3505. Then press the “Enter” When the port is open, it will show like this.

Now, you are ready to start a new patrol!Take the device to read checkpoints that you have install in different places.

START A PATROL

There are 2 ways that you can start your patrol1. Use the device to read checkpoint directly, first time, it will prompt you set some information like

Finally, after patrolling, connecting the device with computer by USB cable. And click on “Read Data”, then you can see the data in “Patrol Report”, “History Data” and “Statistics”. You can also export the Excel or PDF about the report.

During your patrolling, if you want take a photo, you can do like this.

Press the camera for several seconds, it will turn on the camera, after taking a photo, press the back button, the photo will saved automatically. If you want associate the photo with event, press “OK” button first, the press back button.

16 NORMAL HAPPENED QUESTIONS

Q: How I know about public IP and local IP ?

A: Search IP on your browser ,then the browser will show your public IP . And run your CONTROL PANEL , input cmdand press OK , then input ipconfig. The telnet interface will show this version . The red square one is local IP.

Q: If I telnet I closed, how can i open my telnet ?

A: Press windows key +R and then input CONTROL PANEL , press OK .Click Programs and then click Turn Windows features on or off. Then open telnet.

Q: if you telnet is connected, but your software cannot receive data.it is may because your firewall is open and block the data. How to open firewall ?A: Press windows key +R and then input CONTROL PANEL , press OK .Enter System and Security ,and then click Windows Firewall .Closing it .

Q: Why I have done all patrol setup and port forwarding, but the software didn’t receive the data or alarm ?A: There are two solved ways for deal with this problem:(1) Changing the sending data mode into automatically.(2) Unplug the device from the computer and wait 5

seconds ,then press left button to send data.

In other hand , you also need to check these conditions: (1)Your APN (user and password )(2) Whether your SIM card is still have fee and have 3G(2G) mode.(3) Check the SIM card is suitable and stable for the device.If you have any problems about software ,please contact us directly : [email protected]

Choosing one company, then use the device to read checkpoints. Connecting the device with computer and click “Batch Read”, it will shows checkpoints ID. You can edit their names. You also can delete/modify checkpoints in there.

Finally, after patrolling, connecting the device with computer by USB cable. And click “Read Data”, then you can see the data in “Patrol Report”, “History Data” and “Statistics”.
