The best teachers are those who make learning fun!

Whatever children enjoy learning is what they will learn the best!--And a good teacher is somebody who inspires their students with a desire to learn. They make it so pleasant and enjoyable that the children almost beg to learn!

In order to really get and keep a child's attention, you really have to put everything you've got into it! Children like to be kept busy. They like to work and do things, but they sometimes have a hard time thinking up things to do, so you have to continually think up new ways to spur them into action.
![Page 5: Make Learning Fun](https://reader035.fdocuments.in/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55558f62d8b42a8e1f8b49ba/html5/thumbnails/5.jpg)
It takes real emotion to move them into motion!
![Page 6: Make Learning Fun](https://reader035.fdocuments.in/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55558f62d8b42a8e1f8b49ba/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
You have to have animation, you have to have enthusiasm--lots of action, lots of motion! You have to really illustrate it and sock it to them and put a lot of real meaning and interest into what you're teaching!

Call it what you like: inspiration, charisma, talent, personality, --you have to have something that brings you and them to life!

You have to stir yourself up and teach them with animation and excitement, challenging the children and making their learning fun and inspiring!

General Teaching Principles
![Page 10: Make Learning Fun](https://reader035.fdocuments.in/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55558f62d8b42a8e1f8b49ba/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
Teach by the clinical method, learning by doing, with someone showing you how to do it.
![Page 11: Make Learning Fun](https://reader035.fdocuments.in/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55558f62d8b42a8e1f8b49ba/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
When showing a child how to do something, be as exact and precise as you can in words and in movements.
![Page 12: Make Learning Fun](https://reader035.fdocuments.in/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55558f62d8b42a8e1f8b49ba/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
The situation and surroundings are important and will greatly
affect a child’s learning as does his health and attitude and the attitude of the teacher. Avoid
boring the child

Every time we help a child unnecessarily, we rob him of a chance for him to learn doing it by himself.
![Page 14: Make Learning Fun](https://reader035.fdocuments.in/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55558f62d8b42a8e1f8b49ba/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
Work from the physical to the mental, from the concrete to the abstract, from the things that child can see and feel before him to what he can only think about.
![Page 15: Make Learning Fun](https://reader035.fdocuments.in/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55558f62d8b42a8e1f8b49ba/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
It is important to give children the chance to really see, feel and try things for themselves. If a child has a good understanding of the basic qualities and properties of things, and has experience in trying them in different ways, he will actually be a “smarter” child.

The starting point for teaching is the child’s interests. First
find out what he really enjoys, then use that in your
teaching as much as possible.

Motivating a child to learn is the greatest thing you can do for him in teaching. He will learn to the best of his ability if he wants to.

Encourage the child that he is not “stupid” because he makes mistakes.

Have a good time! You want the child to
connect learning with good times.
