MAJ ARFF Primary Mission: The safety and well being of our Airport Fire Fighters by providing the tools,

trainings and time to accomplish their mission

MAJ ARFF Secondary Mission: To Provide Fire, Rescue and Security services to the continous air carrier

operations at Amata Kabua Majuro International Airport

MAJ ARFF : Amata Kabua Majuro International ARFF Department was formed in the early 2000s

Airport Security Officers were crossed trained by the Commonwealth of the Ports Authority

Majuro Airport meets the FAA Index “C”, ICAO category 7 with 3,000 gal of water, over 400 gal of foam and 900 pounds of purple K dry Chemicals

ARFF Facility Majuro’s Multipurpose ARFF / AFIS Facility was built back in 2010- The building holds :

First Floor Level 4 Recue bays – equipped with bunker gear storage lockers 2 Vehicular Bays 1 water medical trailer bay Maintenance Shop Fitness Center Day Room Training / EOC room Restrooms East and West staircase leading to second floor level

Second Floor Level Airport Management Offices – 4 Aerodrome Flight Information Services office Dormitories – 4 Restrooms Fire Pole

3 Shift Cycles Daily – Security and ARFF Duties 08:00-16:00 16:00-24:00 24:00-08:00

6 Scheduled United Flights per week : Mon., Wed. & Fri (MWF) – 16:00-21:00 Tue., Thur. & Sat. (TTS) – 08:00-12:00

2 Scheduled Air Nauru Flights per week Fri – 06:00-10:00 Sun – 06:00-10:00

3 Scheduled Asia Pacific Airlines Flights per week Mon 21:45 – 22:45 Fri 21:45 – 22: 45

An Average of 3 scheduled Air Marshall Islands Flights per day, Six Days a Week 08:00-17:00 – time scheduling varies

Unscheduled / Special Flights – tech stop for refueling purposes. Military Aircrafts, Private Aircrafts and other general aviation aircarriers
