I pulled 6 books from my bookshelf thinking somewhere in them I would find the answer (books like Star names, Lost Star, The Secrets of the Vaulted Sky). I didn't read them; I just pulled them out and stacked them for later.Meanwhile, thinking about the abomination and dragon (Satan) connection I briefly looked at the Constellation Draco online and wondered how this would fit but had to get up early for work. Constellation Draco is the Axis Mundi. The article also suggested a book,"The Secret Doctrine of the Kabbalah" that I ordered and downloaded on my Kindle. It is not an easy read and Ive only perused it. It has more information about the Hebrew meaning behind Draco, also called Teli, which significantly means hanging.The book does not present the interpretation of the above scripturethat I will be presenting toyou. Anabominationbefore the throne (in heaven) would be something that represents "that serpent or dragon".Constellation Draco is in the un-moving northern region of the heavens (think northern star) where the ancients believed sits the throne of God. Like most religions of the day, (Egyptian etc.) the Jewish temple was designed to mirror what they saw in the heavens with theinner-most part of the temple being the holy-of-holies or throne of God. This temple throne room represents the still northern region of the heavens above around which all the planets and constellations rotate. In this still region is the constellation Draco, which the ancients calledthe axis mundi. The scripture is referring to this still region overhead, but that does not exclude an equivalent event playing itself out upon the earth because as mystics knew, what is in heaven is mirroredon earth ("on earth as it is in heaven"). Our solar system is "hanging" and spinning, around and around, from this axis mundi like a ball spinning around, tethered on a string. The Dragonshouldbe at this axis mundi upon which the rhythm and movement of our solar system was set since, the beginning of creation. Jesus would have no reason to speak of himself in the third person as the Son of Man. If he was speaking of himself he would simply say that when you see him sitting on his glorious throne. The 12 tribes of Israel are the 12 constellations. For example, Leo the Lion represents the tribe of Judea and so on.Matthew 25:31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Earths North Pole points toward the constellation Draco and the North Star, Polaris. This region is the seemingly unmoving point in the sky directly above earths North Pole around which all other stars appear to rotate. The ancients considered this unmoving region to be the location of the Throne of God. For the Jews it was the innermost part of the temple called the Holy of Holies. The stars sing His praises before the throne day and night because each star and planet is emitting its own vibratory tone. They are also called the hosts of heaven. A good visual of how the axis mundi works is the May-Pole dance. Some scholars even classify maypoles as symbols of the world axis, the axis mundi. The history of the May Pole tradition isthousands of years old, and isrooted in the Celtic cultures of the Northern Hemisphere. May Day is also known as Beltane. Boys and girls hold onto ribbons connected to the pole, and dance opposite ways, interwinding their ribbons as they duck and dive between each other.To unravel the ribbons, the dancers retrace their steps. The pole would be made from a tree trunk. The concept of the axis mundi has also been known and represented as the World Tree. Odin hung (or sacrificed himself) upside down from the Yggdrasil World Tree for 9 nights when he received the vision of the 18 runes, a divining tool of symbols. The Yggdrasill World Tree is equivalent to the Kabbalah Tree of Life. The concept is also found in ancient Assyria.
