Magi Project 2010
• Churches and other organizations ask members to donate one or more magi boxes to be distributed.
• Cardboard shoe box may be used but purchased plastic shoe boxes work best and become part of the gift itself.
• The box is filled with appropriate items using the following categories:– Boy/Girl– Six Age categories: Infant; 1-3 years; 4-6 years; 7-9 years; 10-12 years;
or teen.
• Shoe box is to be wrapped in holiday paper with the lid wrapped separately so customs officials can inspect the contents.
• A rubber band should be used to secure the top on the box• A check payable to Healing Hands, Intl. for $7.00 should be
included in the box on top of the items to cover shipping and handling.

Magi Project 2010Suggestions for gift items:
• Small toys (match box cars, small dolls & doll clothes).• No military items or toy guns.• Pencils/pens/crayons and small coloring books.• Pencil sharpener• Hair brush or mirror for girls.• Hair barrettes/pony tail holders, etc.• Small flashlight (with batteries, led is best)• Tooth brush/Tooth paste• Soap• Hard candy (avoid candy that might melt)• Underwear/socks• Clothing items for hot weather!• Bubbles (lid secure - in zip lock bag )• Balls• Jacks• Games with Spanish direction• Marbles• Notebooks• Etc.

Cost:• Each box with contents will cost $15-$25.• Healing Hands check $7.00• Total cost to donor, $22.00-$32.00• All delivery cost covered by Healing Hands
Benefits:• A joyful Christmas for children that have never received a gift• Strengthens the receiving church by providing for its members in need• Compliments other mission initiatives, i.e. mission trips• Engages large portion of donor’s churches by getting everyone involved in
missions.
