Incheon International Airport is located 70 kilometers from the capital of South Korea Seoul, the largest aviation hub of the country and one of the largest airports in the world in terms of international traffic and the number of operations takeoffs and landings of aircraft.

It was opened in early 2001, the airport undertook the majority of international flights Gimpo International Airport. Incheon International Airport is the base airport and a major hub for national airline Korean Air and Asiana Airlines.
