1. ENTERING THE CLASSROOM
If light is on, you may enter. Be positive Sit in assigned seat and begin three daily
tasks Write Essential Question in agenda Write Homework Assignment in agenda Complete opener task
2.TARDIES
We will follow school tardy policy. Come in quietly, sign tardy log, and take a
seat. Tardies will be dealt with as Class
Consequences.
3. POLITENESS AND RESPECT
Being positive goes a long way! Respect yourself. Respect each other. Respect teacher. Respect classroom.

6. SUPPLIES
What is needed every day? Flashdrive Agenda/Planner 1- 70 pg. notebook 1- 3 inch binder 5- dividers (English, Info. Pages, Vocab., Notes, Misc.) 2 pencils 2 black/blue ink pens 1 red pen 2 highlighters of different colors Colored pencils 1 pkg. of 100 note cards (3x5) Pad of Post-It notes Lined paper
8. HALL PASSES
Class time is valuable, so choose to be in class
Restroom: You have two passes per quarter that can be
turned in for extra credit at the end of the quarter.
Cannot be traded or sold. Water: None, so bring a bottle of water Nurse: Fill out agenda or ask Mrs. Wikler for a
pass
9. CELL PHONE USE IN CLASS
On purpose: Phone will be taken and given to the deans’
office. Ex: texting, using phone on a test
Accident: Student will be asked to put phone away. Phone
will not be taken away Ex: phone rings in class
11. MAKE UP WORK DUE TO ABSENCE
3 School Days to turn in assignments missed Write “Absent” on top Assignment due when you were gone is due
the day you get back. Check three places:

12. LATE WORK
Put in In Basket Write “Late” on top Worth 50% of completed grade Class progress report days
13. COLLECTING WORK
T-shape pass up in less than 10 seconds Turn any assignment in to In Basket Out Baskets: once and assignment is in
there, it is for you to take.
14. PENCIL & PEN
You may sharpen your pencil at any quiet moment in class. You do not need to ask permission
You may borrow a pencil or pen by dropping your shoe in front of the black book case. Nothing else may be given as collateral If a student abuses the system of trust, then said
student will not be allowed to borrow any more of my materials.
15. TRASH
3 trash bins 3 recycle bins You may get up during class without
permission to throw garbage away. We take pride in keeping our room clean.
16. AGENDA
LHS agenda can be purchased at student store.
An agenda is required- does not have to be LHS agenda.

17. ZERO TOLERANCE FOR ZEROS (ZTZ)
LHS will not support students getting zeros Students will be sent to PASS room to
complete missing assignments.
18. SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
Better than perfect behavior is expected. Consequence for misbehavior: Deans’
Referral Class Points for good behavior Be helpful and kind Bad sub= play the game and tell Mrs. Wikler
about it when she returns
19. RAISING OF HAND
Order is important in education. When you have a question or comment, raise
your hand.
21. EXITING THE CLASSROOM
Teacher dismisses, not the bell. Mrs. Wikler will give you one minute at the
end of the period to pack up. Do not pack up before then.
Straighten desks and pick up garbage off the floor and throw out as you exit.
