Structure
• Executive Body– Five executive positions– President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer,
Social Chair• Representative Body – 2 per American Section class
Presidential Elections
• Take place during early school year meeting• All elected representatives vote• President runs with Vice President• Other executive offices voted for separately
Council Elections
• In class vote• Held in the first week of September• 20 students choose 2 representatives
Meetings
• One-hour meetings every other week• Agenda established before• All reps attend• Topics: activity proposals, fundraising,
volunteering initiatives• Platform for other organizations to present
their projects
Collaborating with Administration
• Meetings with American Section Director• Regular updates to faculty
Communication
• American Section Student Google Group– Platform for all students (news, important dates,
practical information…) – Newsletter to all students
