Lmiere is a premium quality epoxy ooring system that is available in bright metallic fnishes. It has metallic integral pigment that gives

a variegated three-dimensional appearance. Typically it is coated with polyaspartic sealer that results in a high-per ormance, chemicaland abrasion resistant, easy to clean and virtually maintenance- ree ooring system.

lmiere system applicationThe application o the Lmiere system involves the ollowing steps:

1. application o primerThe substrate is prepared per the guidelines given in the Draamen technical

bulletin-1 and then one coat o the primer Perdre E02 is applied with a shortnap roller. The primer ensures ma ximum adhesion to the substrate and prevents

outgassing and air bubbling in the fnished system. Perdre E02 is a 100% solids, moisture-tolerant epoxy primer or concrete a nd

masonry sur aces. It combines the properties o water insensitivity and goodwetting properties. A ter the application o primer, it is allowed to cure or at least6-8 hours be ore the application o Lmiere body coat.

2. application o lmiere a . Mixing

I. Thoroughly mix each component separately prior to mixing with each other.

II. Mix 4 parts o A with 1 part o B by volume or three minutes with a low speedelectric drill mixing paddle.

III. Do not mix more material that can be used in 30 minutes.

b . ApplicationI. Pour material on the oor in a line and spread with a at/notched squeegee or

trowel to a coverage o 160 t 2 /gal. to achieve a thickness o 10-12mil.II. Back roll with a short nap roller to even the sur ace texture o

the coating.

III. Allow material to cure or 14-16 hours be ore applying the second coat. Twocoats are required unless a single coat is applied at least 18-20mil thick.

IV. Second coat (OPTIONAL): Mix and apply as be ore. I the second coat isback rolled, be aware that the roller pattern may be visible. While the materialis still wet, lightly mist sur ace with dispersing agent (acetone or Xylene, etc.)with a sprayer to cre ate special e ects. A carbon dioxide powered sprayeris a better option to avoid unwanted drips. Experimentation is necessar y todetermine how long to wait be ore spraying dispersing agent, based on such

actors as temperature, amount o solvent, type o solvent, etc. Spray toosoon and the epoxy will ow back to its original appearance. I sprayed toolate the Lmiere will not be a ected by the solvent mist.

V. The Lmiere is allowed to cure for at least 24 hours before the application of top coat.

3. application o topcoat a. Use Perdre P70 for sealing the Lmiere system.

Perdre P70 , 98% solids polyaspartic sealer is applied as a protective top coatover Lmiere body coat. Perdre P70 is a next generation aliphatic polyasparticpolyurea designed to provide high gloss, UV stable (non-yellowing), chemical andabrasion resistant protection. Perdre P70 has very low odor and can be appliedindoors in occupied areas.
