PETROSPECSLUBRICANTS

DESCRIPTIONCO-OP® D-MO® GOLD is recommended for all naturally aspirated and high-output turbocharged four-stroke diesel engines requiring an API CJ-4 service classification in either a 15W-40 or 10W-30 viscosity grade. All CO-OP® D-MO® GOLD products are formulated for use in EPA compliant low emission engines. These engines have been manufactured since 2007 and utilize advanced exhaust after treatment devices such as Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems. CO-OP® D-MO® GOLD is fully back-serviceable and carries all required licences for pre-2007 diesel engines.

APPLICATIONCO-OP® D-MO® GOLD motor oils are exceptional choices in pre and post 2007 on-road and a majority of off-road applications. CO-OP® D-MO® GOLD products are used in equipment found in: Agriculture, Trucking, Road Construction, Forestry, Mining and the Oil Field. CO-OP® D-MO® GOLD multi-grade motor oils may also be used in hydraulic applications when a SAE multi-grade oil is recommended.

PERFORMANCE FEATURESCO-OP® D-MO® GOLD provides superior performance in the areas of:

• Shear stability• Extended service capabilities• Fuel economy• Soot control• Oxidative stability

CO-OP® D-MO® GOLD also:• Reduces valve train wear• Reduces engine deposits• Reduces oil consumption

PETROSPECSLUBRICANTS

DESCRIPTIONCO-OP® D-MO® Single Grades (10W, 20W-20, 30, 40, 50) are premium mineral based heavy-duty motor oils. They have been formulated to provide superior performance in engines fueled by diesel, gasoline and propane. CO-OP® D-MO® Single Grades are suitable for use in some on-road and a vast array of off-road applications.

APPLICATIONS / SPECSCO-OP® D-MO® Single grades are recommended for older two and four-stroke diesel and gasoline engines requiring single grade motor oils. CO-OP® D-MO® single grades have a wide variety of uses and are excellent choices in applications calling for a single grade motor oil to be used in:

• Transmissions (Allison C3/C4, Caterpillar TO-2) • Mobile hydraulic systems (D-MO® 10W & D-MO® 30 are

suitable for use in applications calling for Caterpillar TO-2 fluids)

• Yard implements (Lawn mowers, roto-tillers) for gasoline powered units D-MO® 30, 40 maintain API SL technology

CO-OP® D-MO® single grades meet the now obsolete API CF Spec, while 30 and 40 grades also meet API CF-2 / SL.

PERFORMANCE FEATURESCO-OP® D-MO® Single Grades provide superior performance in the areas of:

• Dispersancy additives to reduce engine deposits (varnish / sludge)

• Wear protection which promotes engine durability• Service life extension resulting from oxidation stability• Low ash formulation limits the formation of deposits on

critical engine components

PETROSPECSLUBRICANTS

DESCRIPTIONSONIC® ATF TYPE F is a premium-quality automatic transmission fluid designed specifically for all pre-1977 Ford Automatic transmissions. The frictional properties of Type F fluids differ drastically from those used in modern transmissions. Type F fluids maintained high frictional properties that allow clutches to engage quickly; a property not required in modern transmission designs.

APPLICATIONS / SPECSSONIC® ATF TYPE F is suitable for use in the following:

• Pre-1977 Ford C6 Automatic Transmissions• Applications requiring the use of a fluid that conforms to the

Obsolete Ford ESW-M2C33-F specification• Some older Mazda, Toyota and Volvo vehicles requiring the

use of Ford ESW-M2C33-F fluids• Select Pre-1980 Ford Power steering systems• Additional OEM equipment requiring a Non-Friction

modified fluid

NOTE: Always consult your owner’s manual. Do NOT use this fluid in applications calling for GM Dexron II / III, Ford Mercon V/LV/SP and/or other applications requiring a modern friction modified transmission fluid.

PERFORMANCE FEATURES• Maintains a high co-efficient of friction at low-sliding speeds• Oxidation inhibitors aid in preventing deposits on critical

transmission components• Corrosion inhibitors aid in preventing acids from attacking

vital transmission components• Formulated to prevent excessive swelling or shrinkage of

seals

PETROSPECSLUBRICANTS

DESCRIPTIONSONIC® CHAIN OILS are blended to produce a very tacky product that will adhere extremely well (reducing throw-off and dripping) to the guide bar and chain of power saws.

APPLICATIONS / SPECSSONIC® CHAIN OILS are recommended for use in the chain oil reservoir on a majority of modern chain saws. Their tacky nature and proprietary formulation protect the guide bar and chain from excessive wear.

SONIC® CHAIN OILS can also be used:• As a basic chain lubricant for applications that require

hand oiling.• Lubricating guide bars.

SONIC® CHAIN OILS are blended in three specific grades to cover all seasons:

• Light = Winter applications• Medium = Shoulder Season applications (Spring & Fall)• Heavy = Summer applications

PERFORMANCE FEATURES• Tackiness agents enable the oil to maintain a protective oil

film to lubricate the chain and bar• Anti-wear additives protect against premature wear of the

metal components• Anti-rust protection resists water corroding metal parts.• Provides good flow ability at all temperatures (three weights

are available)

PETROSPECSLUBRICANTS

DESCRIPTIONSONIC® SAW GUIDE OIL uses a blend of carefully selected paraffinic base oils and performance additives to protect both modern and legacy multiblade gangsaws and edgers.

SONIC® SAW GUIDE OILS are fortified with tackifiers enabling them to adhere to critical components and form a friction reducing film between the blade and guide. This film resists water washoff and protects the equipment against abrassive environmental debris and reduces friction generated tempature increases.

SONIC® SAW GUIDE OIL is blended in 2 common grades (100 and 150).

For extreme heat or specialty applications, a custom heavy-grade can be produced. Please contact your local Co-op for additional information.

APPLICATIONS / SPECS• Gangsaws• Edgers• Trimmers• Older sawmill applications where circular saws are used• Small portable circular saws

PERFORMANCE FEATURES• Rust Protection – Rust and Corrosion inhibitors assist in

keeping blades cleaner and increasing their usable life• Reduces Pitch Build Up (wood resin) – Reducing wood

resin on the blades and guide aid in reducing wear and maintaining cooler operating temperatures, thus reducing overall wear

• Reduced Oil “Fling” – Tackifiers reduce the amount of oil throw off the blades generate, resulting in a cleaner, healthier environment
