Firstly …• Surveyed participants to gauge knowledge, skills and
confidence – or lack of them• Devised individual projects Secondly …• Experimented • Discovered, discarded and discovered more things • Tried and ‘tasted' tools Then ….• Surveyed participants who demonstrated an increase in
knowledge, skills and confidence.

… and yet so far to go• The biggest hurdles:
• What we didn’t know• The range and breadth of available resources • Deciding what works in each context • Time to think proactively rather than reactively• Understanding how the student thinks and learns
in an ‘e’ environment• Consistent structure … helping us all find our
course!

Objectives – Achievements So Far
• To develop staff capabilities in e-delivery using Moodle

What’s Next for Tourism?
• Sharing skills and knowledge and the journey• Work group • QAG• TAFE SA state wide Tourism Conference (May 2010)
• More experimenting, experiencing and road-testing Moodle
• Consolidation of Skills• Understanding and sharing the possibilities• Ongoing practice and usage time!
