    1. Low CSSR Voice (1)Background info:RRC Establishment- RRC setup procedure, is the process that establishes the L3connectionbetween UE and RNC that is used for signalling traffic only.- After RNC

    receives the RRC CONNECTION REQUEST, processes itand allocates relevant resources onL1, L2 and L3 of the air interface forthis signalling connection.- The RNC notifies the UEfor the prepared configuration with the RRCCONNECTION SETUP message.- TheUE reports its capabilities to the RNC with the RRC CONNECTIONSETUP COMPLETE.RAB Establishment- RAB setup procedure is the process that establishes thehigher-layer connection between UE and CN that is used totransfer the user data only (notsignalling).- When the RNC receives the RAB ASSIGNMENT REQUESTallocates thenecessary resources for the requested service,after successful call admission.Resources include Codes,CE, Power, Iub bandwidth.- Then the RB is setup which is theUTRAN part of the RAB.- Upon successful completion of the RB setup, the

    RNCresponds to the CN with the RAB ASSIGNMET RESPONDmessage.
