On our jacket Orion we have used the world’s largest zip manufacturer YKK’s latest water-resistant zip”Aquaguard®”. This is a traditional zip that has been given a thin film of polyurethane finish to create a polyurethane laminate. This makes it possible to create bolder designs and looks something that was previously impossible with earlier water-resistant zips.The zip also has a unique ‘Interlocking bottom stop’ which caps the space between the elements and the ‘bottom-stop’ to keep out water.
