Make your own fresh lemonade

ingredients:

5 large lemons

120g granulated sugar

2 pints of water

ice

Carefully remove the yellow zesty bits

from the lemons using a potato peeler.

add them to a saucepan with the water

and sugar. gently bring to the boil and

stir until all the sugar has dissolved

– this should take about fi ve minutes.

Leave the mixture to cool while you

juice the lemons. add the lemon juice

to the saucepan and give it a good stir.

carefully strain into a jug to chill.

add an ice cube to each glass before

serving. Enjoy!
