LNE Curriculum Night Our class mission is to actively participate in a safe and challenging environment where everyone can explore their creative learning style. We will accept responsibility for our actions and work hard to be a good student and citizen. We will use our creative thinking and build learning endurance to persevere while reaching our goals. This will be done by working hard, asking questions, and never giving up. If we work hard we will reach our goals!

Testing in 5th Grade

• Testing consists of one baseline test in reading, math and science.

• Two benchmark assessments this year in reading, math and science.

• Students will be required to take reading, math and science EOGS in May.

• Some classes require 20-30 minutes of nightly homework in each class.

• Nightly math and reading homework will vary from teacher to teacher.

• Teachers have gone over their homework policy in class. If you have any further questions, please contact that teacher and we will be happy to answer your questions.

Infractions

• Students earn points toward Fun Friday, if they do not meet the minimum points, the student will not be able to participate that week.

• You will be notified by email or behavior note for repeated infractions.
