•Liver lobules – hexagonal structures consisting of hepatocytes• Hepatocytes radiate outward from a central vein•Hepatocytes produce bile

Bile flows through canals called bile canaliculi to a bile duct

Bile ducts leave the liver via the common hepatic duct
