Pre-MBA Bridge Program
The Pre-M.B.A. or “Bridge Program” is a non-
degree program that allows students to earn
the additional 30 credits needed to equate
their three-year bachelor’s degree to that of a
four-year US bachelor’s degree. This program
offers the equivalent of the fourth year of
undergraduate coursework necessary to start
the MBA Master’s curriculum. The GMAT is
recommended but not required. Students can
be considered for admission without the GMAT
and can prepare for the exam while on campus.
Completion of the Bridge Program does
not guarantee students acceptance into
the MBA Program. Students must formally
apply for admission into the MBA program
after beginning the second semester of
the Bridge Program, and must submit an
acceptable GMAT score before they can
be accepted to the MBA program.
The Princeton Review and US News and World Report both rank the
LIU Post College of Management as one of the top schools to
study business.
In the top 5% of business schools worldwide—the LIU Post
business school is AACSB accredited, a prestigious accreditation
that less than 5% of the world’s business schools hold.
LIU Post is consistently ranked by US News and World Report. In 2012,
LIU Post was named one of the best regional universities in the USA.
Accreditation
LIU Post is accredited by the Commission of Higher Education of
the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
In addition, all of the academic programs are accredited by the most
prestigious organizations in their fields, including AACSB International
accreditation for the business program. Only five percent of the world’s
business schools earn this accreditation. The Princeton Review ranks
LIU Post in its “Top 300” business schools, and graduates of our
Palmer School of Library and Information Science are among the highest
