Starter Task
On a plain piece of paper write everything you can think of that reminds of you a pirate.
Think about:
Clothes
Things that help them.
What do they use for travel?
Do some have a special pet?
Write this out like a mind map/spider diagram to help you see all the different things that reminds you of a pirate.
Main Task :
• Your task is to design and draw two pirates today. A boy and a girl. Use different colours and really show us what your pirates looks like.

• If you are completing this in school you are going to stand up at your tables and show the rest of the class the pirate you have created.

Miss Fenn used adjectives like:
• Pretty, pink jacket.
• Small, yellow beard.
• Two, orange eyepatches.
• Is Miss Fenn right with her description?
• NO she definitely isn’t, what ideas do you have?
Your Task
• You are going to write a character description paragraph to describe how this pirate looks.
• Remember to talk about what he looks like, describe what clothes he is wearing what his personality is like.
