Children will identify India on world map and globe. They will perform on patriotic songs. Children will watch a power point presentation on our heritage sites. Children will put a paper on coin (head side) and trace. Then teacher will ask them to find out where all they can see this symbol (national emblem). Children will dress up as their favourite freedom fighters and talk about them.

Children will be encouraged to count numbers from several starting points i.e. start counting from 1, 5, 12, 20 etc. Children will enjoy counting while skipping or hopping. Numbers will be reinforced through board games.
